AUTHOR POV:
The waves gently lapped at their feet, the soothing sound of the ocean making them forget about everything else.
Aditi and Araav sat next to each other on the beach, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the sound of the waves.
She was leaning on his shoulder and he was admiring her fragrance."So now the date is confirmed?" Aditi broke the silence between them.
"Yeah we have to give the invitations" He exclaimed.
Aditi Sat properly.
"The first one should be to my best friend," Aditi exclaimed.
Araav smiled looking at her excitement."Yeah, she is the one who supported us from the beginning of our relationship," He said.
"Yeah," she nodded in excitement.
"It would have been more interesting if she had a boyfriend and they would-" Araav interrupted Aditi.
She went silent and lost in her thoughts.
"Hello madam?" Araav waved to her.
Aditi got back to her senses.
"What happened, where are you lost?" Aarav furrowed his brows.
She nodded 'nothing'"Don't you want your best friend to have the love of her life and get married like us?" he questioned.
"Like us? But we haven't married yet" she raised her brow."Soon we will." He tilted his head towards her sweetly and put his face near hers.
Her cheeks turned red.A mobile ring interrupted them.
"Ab kon hai!" He was exhausted.
"Pick up the call!" She said,
Araav picked up the call and Aditi was staring at him."Achaa okay meh abhi ata hu" he pressed his head and cut the call.
"Are you leaving?" She asked.
"Yeah I need to go to an emergency case here," he said and stood.
"But araav-" she has been cut by him.
He hugged her and gave a peck at her temple.
"I'll come in the evening, let's go for dinner," he whispered in her ear.He left and she waved at him.
Aditi sat on the beach, listening to the soothing sound of the waves. It was the only thing that filled her ears.
Her attention drifted away as she looked out at the sea, lost in her reflections.
Don't you want your best friend to get married? The words of Araav kept replaying in her head.
Yes, I want her to get married and have a healthy relationship but she is not who she used to be Araav. How should I tell you? Ishika, my best friend, has always been an inspiration to many girls.Throughout her life, she has always stood as a strong woman, encountering numerous challenges. Life kept throwing constant obstacles her way, taking away the things she loved. It seemed like a never-ending cycle of loss and struggle. She thought in her mind and took a deep breath
"And He is one of them," She Blunted."Okay it's enough now it's been so long now I have to speak to her about this," she said with determination.
A throat-clearing voice interrupted her from behind.
She only turned to see Ishika.Aditi faked her pout.
"Kya hua meri cutie pie?" Ishika pinched her chin.
"You are late again as usual" she crossed her arms."Seriously? you know right about the traffic in Mumbai so even if I try to reach here on time I can't" She complained.
Aditi squinted her eyes and Ishika chuckled.
