Miyoung's Pov
I saw him sitting across me and talking to my parents. We all are in our house eating dinner. Well..i was actually thinking to marry someone whom i fell in love with, not some stranger, but i had to marry for my parent's business.. am i seriously marrying someone for business..? What if he turns out to be like one of those men from those books? What if he's toxic? Omg what if he cheats on me? What if he-

"Miyoung!" My mother exclaimed

"Huh!?" I was pulled out of my chain of thoughts when my mother nudged me "i've been calling you since forever..what were you thinking? "Anyways..Miyoung what do you think about this marriage??" His mom asked me

"Um..-" i didn't know what to say and was thinking what to answer but dokyeom replied for me "Mum..let's give her some time. This is a life changing decision" Dokyeom said and smiled at me while i did the same

"Well then think and tell your decision dear. We'll be waiting for your answer.." his mum said with a brightest smile just like his. Now i get it where he got that from

"why don't you both go out and have a talk? Miyoung why don't you show him your garden?" My mother suggested with a smile

I looked at him to see what would he say but he was already looking at making quickly divert my eyes
"Sure..let's go" i said and stood up and he followed me.

We reached the garden area and were just standing quietly.. "Miyoung-ssi, do you really like this marriage?" He asked me breaking the silence between us

"I'm not actually sure... i mean what do you expect, i got to know that i'm getting married one day ago.." i said while chuckling "you're right." He said and stood in front of me and held my hands startling me

"Let me be honest, I like you Miyoung. I know we've just met but i really like you. You can call this love at first or whatever. But i want to give us a chance. I know we're getting married for business purpose, but we don't have to act like that. And who said we cant fall in love after marriage? Why don't you give us a chance..please.." He expressed while holding my hands tighter

His eyes were filled with sincerity and hope which can make you kneel for him. I nodded "i'll think about it" i said which made his smile grow wider. He suddenly hugged and released the hug immediately "sorry..i was just so excited" he said while rubbing his nape

"Thats okay..maybe we should head inside" i said and we went inside and saw our parents were giggling "oh! You guys came. Well how was your talk?" I was weirded out by the way my father was asking with a teasing smile. i frowned "it was good" i said shortly and then looked out of the large glass window of our house

My eyes went wide with realisation why they were laughing..I guess they saw us hugging..oh my goodness thats so embarrassing!! I looked at Dokyeom to see him looking at them with his innocent eyes not knowing why they were giggling like some teenagers

"Umm..why are they giggling like that?" He leaned down and whispered in my ears. I felt goosebumps when he suddenly came near me and whispered "i-i think they saw us hugging in the garden.." i said and looked away to hide my blushing face

"Oh.." he said and smiled sheepishly

"I think we must head back now..it's already late.." his dad said while standing up. Our Dads were shaking hands while our mothers were hugging each other when Dokyeom suddenly passed me his phone

"Save your number in this..i'll text you when i'll get back home- if you don't mind!" He immediately added while i chuckled and and saved my number in his phone as Miyoung when i saw him adding a heart next to it Miyoung💗

After that they left and me and my parents went to our respective bedrooms after wishing each other good night.
