Chapter 11

Miyoung's PoV
I got dressed to go to the work, and i waited for dokyeom to get ready. We both reached to work on time and he introduced me to everyone. And i was surprised to see that they are very welcoming and not hating me.

"This is your cabin. And i already arranged all the things you might need." He said and i nodded "thank you dokyeom-ah.." i said and hugged him. He puckered his lips for a kiss and i chuckled and gave a peck. "All the best!!" He gave me a reassuring nod and left when his secretary called him.

I sat on my seat and called all the Marketing team members and discussed about the work with them. They were very patient and explained every details making me impressed.

Time flew and it was already lunch time. Dokyeom came to my cabin to ask about having lunch together. But i refused and said i will have lunch with other colleagues to get to know more about them. He was disappointed but agreed anyway.

I got along with many of them and quickly finished my lunch and thought of meeting Taerin and Mingyu since i have a lot of time. I went to Dokyeom to ask him.

"Dokyeom-ah..I still have some time before the lunch time ends, so i was thinking i could meet Taerin and Mingyu. Can I??" I asked with puppy eyes. "You know i can't say no to you. But! Before going forward your folder of today's work." He said and i nodded eagerly.

Mingyu, Taerin and i were sitting in a cafe near my work place and were chatting about our life. I was surprised that Taerin wasn't that mad or surprised when she saw Mingyu. And he was sharing his experience in Italy, Taerin was telling how problematic her little brother was and i? I was just listening to them yapping. I also informed them that i started working in DK enterprises in Marketing Department and they were beyond happy that i started working.

I wanted to ask Mingyu if something was wrong between him and Dokyeom today. Thats the actual reason for this meet up. We were laughing and drinking our drinks.

"Mingyu, i need to ask you something.." i started. I noticed Taerin was eyeing mingyu cautiously and gulped, before she left as she got a call from her home.
She kissed my cheeks and left without even glancing at Mingyu.

"Yeah, what is it?" He kept his drink down and had his whole attention on me. "Is something bothering you that is related to Dokyeom..? I just noticed that, Ever since i told you about my marriage, you've been distancing yourself from me. Did i do something wrong..? And i noticed that you've been just looking so mad at him.." i asked slowly.

He was kinda surprised, but quickly composed himself, "Its just that..I like you, Miyoung...No! Scratch that, I Love you. More than anything..i was really upset and hurt that you were getting married, and that too, to my friend. That's the reason i left to Italy." He said and held my hands.

I am totally shocked to hear his confession. I tried to say something but just couldn't get any words out of my mouth..My best friend, liked me and i didn't have any idea about it. "I-i.. i'm sorry if i ever gave you the wrong idea of our friendship" I said when i felt him tighten his grip

"I don't get it!! Why did you even agree to marry him?? I've known you for a long time compared to him, Why does it have to be him!? Tell me Miyoung, Am i not better than him?" He says with his grip tightening around my hand.
