Miyoung's PoV
We both arrived at the venue around 6:30pm and entered with our linked arms while the media was taking loads of pictures.

There were many people who came on behalf of their respective companies. I looked around and saw our parents talking to some people i didn't know. They were talking to a man around their age and a woman, around my age who was standing beside him.

We went towards them and my father-in-law introduced me to them with a proud smile. I don't know why he feels proud about me..i don't even have a job.. "And this is my son and his wife Miyoung" he said and i could see that woman looking at me from top to bottom. "I'm Jung Soojin. Pleased to meet you" introduced herself and i could feel sarcasm in her tone. "Miyoung. Pleased to meet you too" i gave her my fakest of the fake smile and i guess she sensed it and looked away.

They continued to converse while i looked around. I saw Jeon jungkook standing at a corner conversing with someone with a drink in his hand. I felt Dokyeom tugging my hand so i turned to him. "Miyoung-ah..jungkook's here too..so dont leave my sight okay? Just stick to me." He said and i nodded

He was talking to many people and i was standing beside him the whole time, until i felt the need to go the washroom. I tugged Dokyeom's suit to get his attention and he turned to me. "Dokyeom, i need to go the washroom. I'll be back." "Are you sure you'll be alright alone? Do you want me to come?" He asks with concern "dokyeom! Its okay..i'll just go and come back fast" he finally nodded and sighed

After finishing my business i thought to go to the food section to get myself something to eat since i was feeling hungry.

I was about to go to the food section, when i noticed a familiar guy enter and apologise for being late. I was beyond surprised to see him here. I saw Mingyu walk towards Dokyeom to speak to him. And i think even Dokyeom didn't know he was coming since he looked so surprised just like me.

After he left to Italy, i tried to keep in contact with him but barely got any reply. I ignored him and went towards the food section and grabbed a glass of wine first. I was in my own world when i saw Mingyu come towards me.

"Heyy. How are you?" He asked "i'm sorry but, do i know you?" I said with confusion on my face. "Okay..I'm sorry for not replying to you or keeping in contact with you. I tried but i was really busy and i had no time. I'm really sorry." He apologised with his puppy eyes making me accept his apology.

I glared at him but then just gave in. "Fine. But if you forget about me again, i'm gonna kill you!!" I raising my fist.

"Btw, why are you here? I mean, you left Italy so suddenly and landed here" i asked as i sipped my wine. He grabbed a glass of whiskey for himself, "i'm here on behalf of KMG corporations. Actually dad was supposed to come, but he couldn't and sent me" He answered as he took a sip.

"I see.." "you look so hot tonight.." he said slowly while looking straight into my eyes. It made me confused since he would only use words like 'beautiful' or 'pretty' to compliment me. This was very different, and it made awkward for me. "Thanks.." i said and looked around.

"How is Dokyeom treating you Miyoung?" He asked suddenly. "He's treating me like a princess. I feel so loved by him. And i love him truly. You see this necklace, he brought this for me when he proposed." I said while smiling. I could see him clenching his jaw, and it made me confused.
