So as the month went on things gradually fell back into place, except even though things were returning to normal she felt a lingering sadness whenever she thought of her grandfather. Jason had attempted to talk to her once or twice in the hall but managed to avoid talking to him by going different routes in the halls or talking to her friends whenever she saw him. But the next month changed that when Crystles mother told her that her dog tanga had died of old age while she was at school, she felt her heart break again at this news but maintained to stay calm this time and didn't break down. She did however stay home the next day to watch Tanga get barried and only let a single tear fall down her cheek. Of course the neighbors heard and some came to see how we her with so much grief waying down on us and I let my mother talk to them, her father hadn't talked much since her grandfather died abd had started drinking again heavily, and Tanga and him had always been close so it just went up from there and his health went down but Crystle kept smiling even when her parents constant argueing had started about her father drinking so much so she had asked her mother if she could go over Veronicas to just get away from it all and since it was only a couple blocks away she agreed. She decided to walk in order to get some quiet. That didn't last very long when she had just made it fown her street and Jason pulled up his motorcycle next to her and said " I know you probably don't want to talk to me or have anything to do with me, but get on I need to show you something" normally Crystle would have simply said no but she didn't tell Veronica a specific time she would be there and she heard motorcycles were fun, and with the look on his face she couldn't help it she agreed with a "fine" and climbed on the back of the bike and after giving her a shocked look hepassed her a helmet and said " hold on tight" and she said "ya right how bad could it be?" but as he started the bike he said "okay... Don't say I didn't warn you" and they took off and she ended up wrapping her arms around him tightly feeling the outline of his abs underneath his shirt as he smirked and shouted over the wind "I told you so!" and she shouted back with an exhilarated laugh "oh, shut up!" and he laughed back and after 20 minutes they pulled up to a big rock in a forrest. Crystle didn't know where she was and for the first time ever, she didn't care. She hopped up and instead of running up to the rock she stumbled and almost tripped getting off the bike and Jason caught her and let her fix her self till she could stand up and said " I should've warned you it can be a little difficult to reajust your legs the first time you ride." he said with a smug smirk. " Oh shut up!" she said pushing him off and in doing so starting to fall again and he caught her again and pulled her close " I'm just kidding ok? Take it easy" he said and she fell forward accidentally and he held on to her tighter and she gave in as he pulled hwr up more so she ended up just leaning on his shoulder with her feet resting on top of his so she was partially standing and she remembered that he wanted to show her something. " so..." she said putting her head back up realizing what she was doing " you said you wanted to show me something?" " yes but we half to get there first" he said and she noticed he looked slightly taller " what are you..." she started to say before she realized he had let his wings reapear and she realized a second before her feet slipped what he was doing and she quickly put her arms around his neck and pulled herself up so she was faced to face with him and she said "PUT ME DOWN" in a firm voice "calm down, here" he said with a smile as he shifted his feet back underhers in the air " stand on my feet if it makes you feel better, or you could just get yours out and let go" he says with a smirk," you know I don't like to use my magic, even for flying" she responded loosening her grip some so she wasn't as close to his face and he kept his arms around her waste "ya know...this is the closest you've been to me since we were little" he said with a small smile " I've missed you, what ever happened to us that we just stopped talking one day as if by mutual agrreement, we used to be so close, growing up together and all" " ya...about that, I think we just grew apart, we became diffrent, you use your powers all the time and I don't, I guess we just went on diffrent paths, I'm sorry I've been avoiding you lately though, I'll admit though I've missed you to since we stopped talking, alots been happening " she responded with regret in her tone and he responded " I know alots been happening with you, I actually brought you here to ask you for real, how are you doing, and don't you dare say to me you're fine, I know that's not true." " I really just don't want to talk about it ok?" she responded looking down. " well when you do I'm here, I may not seem like it bit I swear I'm always here for you ok?" he said putting his fingure under her chin so she looked at him " ok, can we just stay like is for awhile... Its been awhile since I've had this much quiet..."" absolutely" He said pulling her close so she's leaning on him again. They stayed like that for an hour just him holding her and them floating in the air above the rock spinning in slow circles intill Veronica called and asked if she was coming and he drove her over there and she managed to stand and she turned and whispered a thank you and he smiled in return when Veronica came out with Stacy saying "guess who joined in" with a big smile and then looked t Jasons bike curiosity and she new Stacy was going to make a big deal of it since she had Stacy had said she " shipped" them when he had only waved to her the first day he came to their school and Veronica had told her about there past. So Crystle simply said quickly walking up to the porch and whispered wait at least till we are inside and he's gone. Right before he pulled off with a smile and wave and waved back. Then they went inside.
