When The Magic Breaks Loose

I went through the rest of the day with butterflies. Then after school I went to Veronicas with Stacy and we all had a little squealing fest with Stacy asking " is he a good kisser?" and Veronica asking "so are you giys going out now?" and me laughing and saying "yes, and I guess I don't really know" and us all laughing and them teasing me, it was a good day. So after I finished hanging out with them I walked home and stopped out front of my house wondering if I should knock on Jasons door since our parents don't come back till tomorrow. After a minute I took a step torwards his house then quickly turned around and started walking up my driveway to my door and felt the ground moving beneath me and I stopped and looked down to see that I was moving backwards on the block I was on. So I turned around and saw Jason standing out front of his house and motioning with his finger to come over and I felt the block go back into place as I started to walk to him and he stood on the other side of the street now with his arms out and I laughed and ran into his arms as he caught me and spun me around. While I smiled down at him and thought to myself everything is ok when I'm with him. Then instead of putting me down like I thought he would he pulled me close and I felt ourselves lifting and I said "Jason... What are you doing?" as I tightened my grip and he said " Making an excuse for you to do that" as he smiled and laughed and I said " this isn't funny put me down!" and he said with mischief in his eyes "ok, if you insist" and let go of me and I slipped and screamed since we were already above his house. Then I felt him catch me and he was holding me princess style from the way he caught me and I wrapped my arms around his neck like my life depended on it and he turned me so I was facing jim and I wrapped my legs tightly around him to before I said " you are such a jerk!" and he laughed and said "why? You told me to put you down" and I tightened both my grips and said "I didn't mean like that!" and pinched his neck and ge laughed and said " ouch!" and put his arms around me and tightened his grip and said "ok, next time I'll put you down properly" with his mischievous glint still in his eyes and the smile still on his face as I leaned back and said " what are you smiling at?" and he said with a laugh " oh, nothing" and pulled me back so he was nose to nose with me and said " do you still want to be put down?" and I said "yes, but don't drop me !" and he said" ok, but you might want to get closer" and I said " why would I get closer right as we started zooming down abd I did tucking my head into his shoulder as we flew through an open window I didn't notice that lead to his room and we slowed down and we were floating right above his bed and he said with a smile on his face " you can let go now" and I pulled my head back and looked around to see where we were and then I felt us lower and I let go as I felt the mattress hit my back and he retracted his wings really fast and landed on top of me catching himself with his arms by either side of my head before his face could hit mine to and I said "hey!" and he smiled as I couldn't help but look down and he laughed and said " are you ok?" as I felt a blush creeping up my face and squeaked out a "yep" and he laughed and I added "can you umm..." and he laughed more and rolled off me so he was next to me on the bed instead and I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding as he smiled and propped himself up on one arm and said " did I scare you for a minute?" and I turned torwards him and punched his arm and said "shut up!" and he smiled more and we both laughed as I said "don't do that!" and he laughed more before he said with a smile still on his face "don't worry, I know you aren't ready for that yet" and I laughed before rolling over away from him as another blush came. This made him laugh more and he tapped my shoulder so I rolled onto my back and looked at him as he said "but you're still getting these" as he kissed me and leaned back smiling and I said " deal, but I should get back to my house and change" and he sighex before smiling again with his glint ok and he wrapped his arms around my waste and befire I knew what he was doing we flew back out the window and landed outfront of my front door and I said " really,was that necessary?" and he said "yes, it's faster" and i sighed and shook my head with a smile and said " whatever" and unlocked my door and walked in and he followed before I could shut the door and I said "what are you doing?" as he sat on the couch and said "waiting for you to change" and I said "but..." and he said "don't worry,I'm actually just sleeping on couch so noone comes in, you forget I was told to look out for you and getting to bug you is just a perk" and I laughed and said "whatever" and went upstairs and took a shower and got dressed and walked back downstairs to see Jason sound asleep on the couch so I just checked the doors to make sure they were locked and put a blanket on him and kissed him on the forhead to say goodnight.

The next morning I came downstairs dressed and ready for school and saw Jason leaning on the back of the couch in different clothes and his hair looking like it was still wet from a shower and smiled at him as he spun his keys and I said " good morning" and he looked up and said "good morning to you to, want a ride to school?" and I said "sure, how did you sleep?" and he said "good,let's go" and we went and drove on his motorcycle to school and we walked to both of our lockers to get are stuff and went to class and instead of going over and hanging with Marco he hung out with me, Stacy, and Veronica instead to my surprise and we all had alot of fun till the bell rang. Luckily we didn't have assigned seating and he sat on my left while Veronica was on my right and Stacy is outfront of me. Even though he got a couple weird looks from his friends and I asked if he was sure and he said "ya" I thought it was cool but it seemed strange to me. The rest of the day went by like that and it was alot of fun, I was also really happy Veronica and Stacy were so cool about him hanging with us today. I thought it was a great day, intill Jason dropped me off and I walked in my house to find my mom sitting on the couch by herself like she was waiting for me. So I quickly put down my stuff and went to sit across from her and I asked " Mommy, what's wrong?" and she said " your dad isn't here right now because I took him to his mother's before I went with the Rights." and I looked at her for a second and said "ok" it wasn't the first time she had to do that since they've been together. Then she added " he hasn't been ok for awhile, between what happened with Tanga and his hip hurting for so long after he had surgery all those years ago, my point is he's been very sick lately and I just wanted to make sure you're ok." So I looked at her even though I knew all this and I've never been ok with it and said " I'm fine" and went up to my room. I texted Veronica that he got kicked out again and we chatted for a while intill my battery died."

That night I had a dream " I was in the water and I was holding my breath and I couldn't breath, I needed air. When I looked down I saw just darkness and all around me it was just dark blue and I finally gave in and I breathed in. It was a cold and refreshing breath and I couldn't believe I could breath. I looked forward and saw the outline of someone and my last thought before I woke up was daddy" I had woken up around 2:30 and was really worried and wanted to call him and checked on my mom but I couldn't bring myself to call him even though I had a bad feeling. I tossed and turned the rest of the night.
The next morning I woke up and it was a beautiful day. I was still tired but I got up and got dressed and went to school with Jason. Then when we got to class I asked Jason to go hang out with his friends why I talked to Veronica since Stacy wasn't there cause she had gotten sick. He agreed after asking if I was ok and I said "I'm fine, couldn't sleep" and he said "ok..." and walked over to talk to Marco and his friends and played a prank on one of them by moving the seat with magic right before they sat down and they all laughed as me and Veronica talked. Then it was a normal day from there with Jason occasionally coming over to check on me. It was actually a pretty good day till I was home and reading it my backyard and got a call from my grandmother saying she was picking me up which confused me and I said ok. I could see in the car that something was wrong but I let it go and we drove all the way to her house and we pulled in and I saw my mom in her car in the drive way crying in a ball in the car and I went into the house with my grandmother and my mom came in and sat behind the counter as my grandmother told me, my dad was dead. I crumpled to the floor crying for a while and my mom talked about how dhe was going to my other grandmother's to take him home and she cane downstairs to find him already in rigamortis with his mom upstairs oblivious and even after my mom called 911 his mother never cried after she knew. It hurt and my heart shattered more only leaving a little piece in it's wake,and with my heart some of my wil broke to.
