Chapter thirteen

Veronica picked up the phone after the first ring as Jason went to go get dressed and the first thing out of her mouth after I said "Hello" was " where are you!!!??? I didn't see you when I was walking home and I saw Jason make a U-turn looking royally pissed! And we never finished our talk earlier! You need to come over! Seriously, I'll come get you so you don't have to face your grumpy boyfriend" as she said the last part Jason had sat crisscross applesauce and raised his brow at the last part since my phone was loud and so was Veronica. I cleared my throat and said " uh.. Veronica... You're a little late..." and Jason snatched my phone away and got up saying " Hello Veronica, what is this about me being pissy and you helping her avoid me?" and he was quiet and walked away a few feet as I got up in attempt to get my phone back as he was quiet and listening to her loud response as she said " You'redarn right I'd help her avoid you and that's not going to change she is my best friend and you can't do anything about that. So,suck it up buttercup!" at this point I was jumping for my phone trying to take it back. Since he was holding it up as he listened while saying " give me my phone! Veronica ignore him!" and He shouted so Veronica could hear him over me " you wanna bet? I would bet I can win you over to the loint where you won't!" and I heard her laugh and say " I dare you to try!" and I shouted " Veroinca! Do not encourage him!" and I heard her laugh and say " sorry! Where are you guys? I'll come get you Crystle! And I was going to yell out where we are when he pulled me close and covered my mouth with one arm before yelling with a smile " Bye Veronica!" and hanging up and shoving my phone in his pocket as I licked his hand making him take it off my mouth and he wipwd it on my dress before bringing his other hand around and bringing it gently to my cheek as he pulled me forward when I tried to step back and brought his mouth to mine and I tried to take advantage of him being distracted to get out my phone from his pocket but he caught my hand as soon as I tried and held it in his as he nibbled my lip making me open it and deepend the kiss as his other hand played with my hair. We stayed like that for a few minutes before he pulled back and his hand that was in my hair slid down to my butt and said as I pushed it off he said " don't lick my hand if you don't want me to kiss you to put it to a better use" and I stepped back and crossed my arms before saying under my breath" dammit Veronica you gave him a new toy to play with with what we talked about" and he chuckled before saying " ya,I should thank her for showing me you can handle it, but you can't be mad at her for the topic, I'm still a guy, I think about this stuff all the time when I'm with you" and I just opened my mouth in suprise and he looked at my reaction before saying " Crystle, please tell me you honestly didn't think I wasn't interested in you that way. For gods sake it's hard for me to control myself around you I waa wondering why but I guess I got that answer. I behave for you, when you're ready I am. I love you and I want to show you in every way. I want to protect you and love you in all diffrent ways and prove to you I care" and I just looked down and said " I don't know... I mean before today you never showed any intrest in going further than kissing except for as a joke" and he just looked at me and said with a smile " I guess I need to make this more clear than" and I looked at him side ways and said " how?" and his smile just grew before he said you'll see, come here, I'm going to take us home and I walked slowly over to him and he gave me a hug and said "poof" and we apeared in his room and I stumbled back because I haven't travelled that way before and it made me dizzy and I landed right onto his bed so I laid sideways down on his pillows and said " warn me next time!" while pointing at him with my eyes closed so i could try and focus them and lay here till the dizziness dissapears and he said " shoot, sorry I forgot". As I lay there Jason was quiet for a minute before he said " here, I can help, I actually read this works I checked out the book we looked in" and I peaked my eyes open and they made me feel like the room was spinning as I said " what are you going to do?" and he said " just trust me and close your eyes again" so I did then i heard some rustling and heard something soft hit the ground before feeling a dip in the bed and hearing Jason say " you aren't going to like this but for the first time it can ladt hours if I don't do this" and I was about to ask what when I felt his hands on the bottom of my dress and he yanked it up and over my head making me quickly sit up. Which made me quickly sit up and I tried to pull his blanket over me when i stopped me and said " trust me" and I relaxed and alid back down and I felt him lay down next to me and scoot me between the wall and him and since my underwear and bra was still damp from swimming the wall made me really cold until I felt Jason's body heat which made me unconsciously scoot closer to him but I could luckily feel his jeans were still on but I started to get freezing I wrapped myself arounf him to get as much warmth as possible and as I did do i felt him stiffen in suprise before going with it and as he held me I felt my dizziness ease and I relaxed cause it was working but it wasn't completely gone yet and I was cold so i figured closer and more touching a mate must mean faster healing or fixing of the problem he's right, and it'll be warmer and with that ladt thought I reached my hands down to where I felt his jeans and started pulling down making him sound akward as he said " what are you..." and I said " off, now" and he obligied getting up for a moment to slip them off and I felt it work some more as our legs touched as I wrapped mine around his for warmth and to fix it as he wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around him as he said " you're freezing" in a near whisper and I said " Ya, now keep warming me up" as I pulled him closer but still flelt some of the ache of dizziness and was starting to shake from being so cold so I rolled over onto my back attempting and succeeding after he realized I wanted him to follow to take him with me so he was like a blanket and I pulled him down and kissed him feeling the dizziness nearly gone and I licked his bottom lip to get him to open his mouth and he happily accepted it and my dizziness went away so I kissed him a little more to thank him for reading about it before rolling onto my side with him again and letting go of him before saying "thanks" and sitting up only to be hit by a wave of exhaustion and coldness that made me fall back down and bring him close again before he said " oh my god your freezing, I have to get you out of that and he unsnapped my bra and threw it off before pulling down my underwear and doing the same and I was to tured to say anything and I understood he was in survival mode to now and he pulled the blanket on tip of me along with getting a couple others but I was still shaking and looking at him ans he went to laybon top of the blankets but he was warm and i wanted his body heat so I choked out with chattering teeth and a yawn " u-un-under" and he just nodded after turning away and putting on dry undergarments as well and xlimbing underneath so my breasts were pressed against him aa he held me to keep me warm and I fell asleep with my arms wrapped around him like that.

When I woke up I was alone and srill cold but I had on a pair of Jason's basketball shorts on and one of his long sleeved shirts that flopped around when i moved my arm up I felt really weak and tired still but I wanted Jason. He made me feel better so I got up taking thr blanket with me and stuck my head out of his room door which was closed and inched into the hallway trying to look for him, but he must have heard me get up cause se flew up the the steps wearing pajama pants but still shirtless and he stopped out front of me before saying with a concerned expression and a soft voice " why'd you get out of bed?" your sick and I talked to both of my parents and your mother and told them everything and they agreed you can stay here with me till you're all better at least because I do help. Go back to bed". I stopped slowly inching closer to his warmth as I said " I want you with me" nkt fully processing what he said in my exhaustion and he said with soft eyes " of course, let's go" and he scooped me up blanket and all and took me back into his room and closing the door with his foot before we layed back in bed and continued to cuddle after I made him get back under the covers so i could feel his warmth. After a little while of laying there in his arms a fell asleep again and woke up with it completely black in the room accept for a few rays of moonlight coming in from in between the curtains. As my eyes adjusted I looked at Jason and smiled but when I did I was surprised. I felt stupidly happy for no reason despite my tiredness and continued coldness when I pull away from Jason. But what suprised me is I laughed and from the crack underneath the window flew in three orbs of light and they floated around eachother as I stared and then I imagined them In a Mickey Mouse formation and they did it and I giggled making Jason stir and when he opened his eyes he looked at me and smiled seeing I was looking at him before he said " what are you giggling about?" and I giggled again before fake whispering " I'm playing with the stars" and he chuckled and said " what?" and I giggled again and pointed up above us where I moved the stars and was making them trace the shape of a heart as he looked at them and his eyes went wide and he looked at me and I whispered to him "ssshhh, I can't let anyone know" and booped his nose and went "poof" as the stars dissapeared and I passed out.

The next morning I woke up still in his room and he was laying there to and I looked to see what time it was on the clock on his desk and it said eight-o'clock and I went "shit!" and sat up straight accedently knocking Jason off the bed and instantly regretting it as he fell off and I was flooded with coldness, weakness, and exhaustion again and he looked up at me and saw me start shaking again as I slowly laid back down and he said " why'd you do that?" and I said " we- we're late to school" and he said " Your sick you aren't going and my mom called me out to so I could stay with you, I thought you'd have figured that out since I told you last night both our parents agreed you could stay here after I talked to them and I said " what are you talking about? I only remember waking up inve to get you and you came up and we went back to sleep" and he looked at ne for a moment as he climbed back up onto the bed and he said " you don't remember anything else from last night?" and I shook my head " no, what else happened?" and he looked away and said " nothing, let's go back to sleep I'll tell you later what I said" and I shrugged and said " ok" and went back to sleep facing the wall this time with Jason around my back.
