{AN: As I take a break from editing A Tale of Could-be Heroes Book 1: Hero, Dragon, Elf, I'm diving back into The Walking Dead to clear my mind. Meanwhile, I'm revisiting A First Day's Hell to ensure it's more than just senseless gore and violence, and actually maintains a coherent storyline. I've been developing an idea that I'm excited to share. If you're familiar with the Manga/Manhua Beauty and the Beasts, this fanfiction is set in a completely different region and doesn't involve Bai Qingqing and her mates. While I don't own Beauty and the Beasts, the characters in this story are original creations of my own. Any images included are my intellectual property, generated using Gencraft from prompts I've written.}
{This is Zache(Zah-Sha), on the cover of this chapter is Atlas}
"Atlas! Atlas, come quickly, you have to see this!" Zache's voice echoed through the dense forest, filled with an urgency that piqued Atlas's curiosity.
Atlas, a formidable figure with piercing blue eyes, pushed through the underbrush, mildly exasperated. "What is it this time, Zache? Another wild rabbit for Mother?" His deep voice rumbled, though there was a hint of amusement in his tone.
Zache's reply came quickly, his excitement barely contained. "Just come! You need to see this for yourself. It's different."
Atlas's sharp eyes narrowed as he approached, his large wolf ears twitching in suspicion. But when he broke through the thick foliage, his breath caught. Before him lay a stunning female, unconscious on the forest floor. Her long, silvery hair cascaded like moonlight over her pale skin, and her serene face was framed by delicate features that seemed out of place in the wilderness.
"By the Ancients..." Atlas murmured, awe and concern battling within his chest. "Why is such a beautiful female lying here, alone?"
Just then, the female stirred, her eyelids fluttering as consciousness slowly returned. Her magenta eyes blinked open, vibrant and filled with confusion, locking onto Atlas's intense blue gaze. Zache, standing just behind, leaned forward, his bright purple eyes gleaming with curiosity as he took in the sight before him.
Atlas knelt beside her, his large form casting a protective shadow over her as he spoke softly, "Are you alright, female? Can you hear me?"
The female's eyes darted from Atlas to Zache, and her brow furrowed. Fear flickered in her expression, though she remained silent.
Zache crouched beside her as well, his tone gentler. "We mean you no harm. Let us help you." His kind gaze softened as he glanced over her vulnerable state.
With some effort, the female nodded, allowing Atlas to help her into a sitting position. Her voice, soft and unsure, broke the silence. "Where... am I?"
Atlas's expression remained calm as he replied, "You're deep in the forest. Did you become separated from your tribe?"
"My tribe?" she echoed, her voice tinged with confusion as she looked around, trying to piece together any fragments of memory. Her eyes searched the trees, but nothing seemed familiar.
