Chapter 1- The Portal

(Astrid's Pov)

My name is Astrid Woods and I am 15 years old. I've been barely surviving living off the money my dead family left me when they died when I was 8 years old and I've been wishing for a better life in the Bayverse version of TMNT since I was 8 years old. I got off school earlier today and I got off work at my other job earlier today and I just got off work at my second job. I unlocked the front door and I closed the door behind me and then I took a shower and I dressed in a T-shirt and stretchy pants and I went to my room and I was about to lay down to watch a movie when the power goes out and I see a bright glowing light that I look and see that it's a portal. I stare at it for a few minutes and I eventually decide screw it wherever it leads can't be worse than my life now maybe wherever the portal leads I'll be happier there. Then I jump into the portal and after I get through the portal I end up falling through the sky then I black out.

(Raph's Pov)

We were on patrol when we all hear a whooshing noise and we all look up and we see a fair Skinned girl with Amber Eyes and Red hair falling out of a portal and now free falling through the sky. I decide to make the first move and start scaling the rooftops until I'm on the rooftop closet to the girl and catch her. Then my brothers come over and Donnie scans her and says she's from another dimension and that she's completely exhausted and won't wake up until morning. Leo decides with that information to take her back to the lair with us and I don't complain this time. Once we get back to the lair I set her on the couch with a pillow under her head and a blanket covering her and I leave a note on the coffee table telling her we brought her here to help her and that we mean no harm in case she wakes up before any of us are awake. Then Leo tells us to go to bed and I listen and follow my brothers and I go to my own room and I go to sleep for the night.
