A Second Chance: The Night of Divine Protection

Part 3

Sameer's boss had sent him on an important assignment to Varud, where the company had bought a large plot of land. Due to time constraints, Sameer had to inspect the office and warehouse being constructed and prepare a detailed report before heading back to Amravati. Sameer had arrived at Varud early in the morning, but the company's assigned employee, Kolte, who was overseeing the warehouse work, had gone out for some reason and returned late in the afternoon. 

After that, Sameer and Kolte inspected the site and prepared a detailed report together, which delayed Sameer's departure for the station. The slow pace of the rickshaw had further added to the delay.

Sameer was now in the rickshaw, heading towards the highway, but luck wasn't on his side that day—the rickshaw broke down in the middle of the journey. Sameer asked, "What happened, brother? Why did it stop?"

The driver replied, "I'm not sure, sir. It seems there's some kind of malfunction." He tried several times to restart the rickshaw, but it wouldn't budge. Realizing that he was running out of time, Sameer decided to walk the rest of the way, as there was no other option. He asked the driver for directions to the highway.

The driver pointed him straight and said, "Keep walking straight, and after a while, you'll reach a dirt road. After crossing it, you'll find the highway." Sameer started walking down the road, grumbling to himself, "What a terrible day! First, Kolte was late, then the inspection and report took longer than expected, causing me to miss my train, and now the rickshaw has broken down, forcing me to walk!"

After going a little further, they came across a young girl standing by the side of the road. She signaled for the car to stop, so Ajay stopped the car, and the girl got in. Ajay started the car again, and they moved forward. The same song started playing on repeat.

The faces of all three new passengers looked cold. No one was talking to each other, and Ajay seemed quiet as well. But now, Sameer started getting suspicious that something was definitely wrong. He quietly turned around to look, and what he saw shocked him— all three of their faces were wounded and covered in blood.

Sameer was startled by the sight, and before he could fully comprehend, the three passengers grabbed him and started strangling him. Sameer was gasping for breath and struggling when he suddenly woke up in a panic. It had been a dream. But when he turned to look beside him, he was in for another big shock.
