You took something made for love

something made for peace

Turned it into weapons

and called it your belief

You say it's for salvation

but you've used it for control

You've twisted every scripture

just to justify your role

You tell us God is love

then you spit out words of fear

You speak of holy battles

but what are you fighting here?

You call yourselves the faithful

but you've lost what's pure and true

If there's a God out there
