NINETEEN

"Ocean Walker, I am in love with you, and I have been for a long time."

Max Verstappen blurted out as he stood in front of the love of his life, seeing her face full of surprise yet also happiness.

He refused to pay attention to the youngest of the Leclerc's who was stood just a couple of metres away from them, his phone in hand as he filmed them.

"Well I'd hope so."

Ocean Walker spoke with a soft voice, a gleeful smile lighting up her face and her features, her eyes sparkling as if the entire solar system was within her irises, her cheeks tinging slightly pink.

"Because I'm in love with you, and I was really hoping that I wouldn't embarrass myself when telling you." The young woman laughed lightly, moving her body forwards so that she could hug him, finding safety and solace in his gentle arms.

Max Verstappen was a softie, she knew that.

Her brothers had always said that he was known for being a dick with a temper and a violent streak, however, she knew that those rumors weren't true. Max wasn't like that, he was kind, gentle, understanding and thoughtful.  He was loving, hilarious, protective, creative and so amazing that she was so happy that she had made the mistake of mixing up Red Bull and Toro Rosso.

It would be the greatest mistake that she had ever made, because not only did it give her a proper chance to finally meet Pierre Gasly, Charles' best friend, but it had allowed her to love a man that she would not have been able to love without that.

She loved Max.

"If you're thinking about having sex, I will go and join the others."

Arthur Leclerc spoke up from behind them, a slight grimace upon his youthful face, having stopped filming and sent it to both of his brothers who were both very happy to see their admissions.

"We'd have to go to Alex's apartment to grab those condoms that you had delivered to him." Max laughed as he stared down at the Walker girl, seeing her face light up at the thought of the joke that she had come up with to annoy her brother.

"That's disgusting! Fuck you guys, I'm gonna find Lorenzo and hope that he can help me bleach my ears!" Arthur complained, grabbing his jacket before running out of the front door of the apartment, knowing where his eldest brother was and running straight there.

The pair laughed as they became by their own, smiling at one another with such joy and love that the hearts of one another were beating so fast and aggressive that they were nearly crashing against each others chests.

Ocean leant forwards in order to press her lips against his, her hands lightly cupping at his cheeks in order to keep him close to her, his arms holding her firmly in place by her back.

The kiss was by far the most loving one out of all of their previous ones, the one that was most needed, the one that they both poured absolutely everything in to, their breaths, their lungs, their minds, their thoughts, their hearts and their love.

It was purely magical, as if they were meant to be, as if they were made for another, crafted in the moulds together so that they would be a perfect fit.

Once their breath ran out, their lips separated, gasps leaving them as oxygen rushed back in to their bodies like a tidal wave of a much needed boost. Their brains felt like they were on fire whenever they were holding one another, goosebumps licking at their skin just from touching one another, the contact between them enough to make them weak, almost unable to move away.

"Will you be my boyfriend, Max?" Ocean whispered quietly, having decided to ask him instead of him asking her, she couldn't explain why she had done that, but she had wanted to do it, so she did.

"Only if you'll be my girlfriend." Max shot her a teasing and playful wink, the duo erupting in to soft giggles, each of them nodding their heads up and down a couple of times.

They were officially a couple.

Max was Ocean's, he had been from the moment that he had laid eyes on her, the beauty within her and all around her having been so evident to him in how she was, loved by her friends, loved by strangers, positively glowing with kindness and love that all she wanted to do was share that love and kindness.

The world needed more Ocean Walker's, though this one was his. The world could get their own Ocean, he had her now and he was damn sure that he was never letting her go.

He was going to love her with every single part of him and everything within him, every ounce was belonging to her. Nobody else.

"Shall we go and join the others?" Max questioned, wanting to make her happy and usually that meant that she would be with her brothers.

"I have another idea. I'd like you to meet my dad." Ocean muttered, slight tears in her eyes at the fact that her father would be meeting her boyfriend for the very first time.

"You're not going to kill me already, are you? So soon?" Max laughed lightly as they walked through the streets of Monte Carlo, heading out of the main city before heading to somewhere a lot of more quieter, away from the multitude of vehicles and bright lights.

As they neared a certain area, Ocean bent down so that she was on her knees, with the man beside her copying her, sitting on the ground, staring at a very grand and very beautiful headstone.

"Hi dad, I told you that I'd bring him. I never break my promises." Ocean let out a small gasp of emotion as she reached out to touch the headstone where her fathers name was etched in stone, encouraging her love to do the same.

"Hello Mr Walker, I hope that you approve of me. Your daughter is amazing and I love her so much." Max spoke to the headstone, knowing how much it meant to Ocean for him to do so, wanting nothing more than to make her happy.

"He always said that he'd send me a Prince, and I never believed him. But I'm looking at one." Ocean turned her head to stare at the Dutch man who was struggling to hold back tears of his own, a soft smile upon his features.

As the couple sat there in their own world, speaking to the late Walker man, they had absolutely no idea that somebody was stood a little distance away from them, watching them closely.

Alexander Albon watched on with tears free falling down his cheeks as he watched the scene, knowing that he had completed in his mission given to him by the man who's name was etched in stone.

He had looked after Ocean.

He had made sure that she found somebody who was worthy of her and her love.

And his name was Max Verstappen.

And his name was Max Verstappen
