THIRTEEN
"You have the fashion sense of a wombat."
Arthur Leclerc spoke as he rolled his eyes teasingly, sitting on a chair inside the apartment of his brother, watching with amusement as his big sister seemed to never coordinate her outfits correctly.
How was she going to go on a date with Max Verstappen whilst looking like that?
She was super lucky that he was there to help her, he knew that. He would have to act like her fairy godmother in order for her to impress at the date, but he knew that she could.
Her personality would shine through and make Max adore her even more than he already did, no matter how much she was stressing.
"I've never been on a date before! Give me a break!"
Ocean Walker released a stressed whine, her eyebrows furrowed together from all the worry within her small body, a feeling of dozens of knots evident within her stomach.
She had tried on every single outfit that she owned, in a variety of different combinations, and yet still, nothing seemed to look or feel right.
"Have a coffee or something, I'll be right back." Arthur stood to his feet as he laughed, shaking his head from side to side. "I'm gonna grab you something that will make you feel priceless... plus, I need a walk, I've got cramp in my ass."
The young Leclerc boy walked hastily out of his brothers apartment as he headed for a department store that he knew would have something great for her to wear.
What he didn't expect to see was Max Verstappen shopping in the men's section of the same department store, with his brother and Pierre offering their advice.
It seemed like Ocean wasn't the only one who was stressing.
Arthur didn't mind the stares that he got as he was casually examining the women's section, more specifically that of dresses and heels. He would happily wear a dress if a situation arised, but he would only do it if he was twinning with Ocean.
He picked out a total of four different dresses along with two different pairs of heels, plus, a clutch bag that she could confidently carry without the worry about it fitting in with the outfit.
He was quite good at this.
As he began to exit the store, his face lit up as he noticed three pairs of eyes upon him, causing the young Monégasque to lift his hand to wave at his brother and his friends.
"Theo and I are going to a fancy dress party!" Arthur lied as he walked away from the racing drivers, knowing that probably figured out what he was doing there, but he refused to tell.
Within seconds of arriving back at his brothers, he launched the dresses in to his sisters arms so that she could try them on, her face full of surprise with how he had managed to find something cute that could possibly work.
She tried on each outfit and paired with the heels and the clutch bag, trying to figure out which one looked the best whilst also being super comfortable, with the Walker girl eventually settling on the an emerald green dress that was just above the knee, it's neckline having a plunge that didn't give too much away but was still pretty, her shoulders bare from it just having simple straps.
Paired with a black pair of heels that were high but not near death high, and the black clutch bag, she was very happy with the look.
All she had to do was to curl her hair, spray perfume and do a little bit of natural makeup and she would be ready to go.
"Max was having a breakdown as to whether to wear a suit or to go for smart casual, so if it helps, I think he's more stressed than you." Arthur suddenly spoke up from where he was sitting in the corner of the room, his hands stretched behind his head.
