As I sat and looked out at the sea that stretched out in front of me and I thougt about how I'd got here. My past 2 weeks had been mental, what with my mum and dad breaking up and mum packing up and leaving bringing me and my little brother Zach with her We'd been here 3 days so far and I hated it. It just wasn't home I missed my old room my old bed heck I even missed my dad even after everything. As I watched out I thought I saw a boat on the horizon I squinted my eyes to try and see clearer and felt myself falling forward my arms flailing around but then I felt a strong hand around my wrist pulling me back I felt solid ground again as my ass hit the concrete floor with a bang ouch "My god are you okaay?" A boys worried voice asked from behind me I shook my head quickly jumping up from the floor and turned to face him I got stunned by his gorgeous brown eyes. I saw his lips move but I didn't hear what he said I was too lost in his eyes his eyes widened waiting for an answer I quickly knocked myself out of the trance I was in "I'm sorry what?" I asked feeling myself blush "I... I said are you okaay" He said shyly I nodded "Oh yeah sure all good you saved my life" I said "Can you not swim?" He asked I shook my head I'd tried to learn years ago but lost interest after two lessons "Oh I feel like a superhero now" He said putting one hand on his hip and the other outstretched in the air in front of him I laughed "This would work a lot better with a cape" He said a corner of his mouth turned up and he dug both his hands into his pockets. We stood in scielence for a moment "So what's your name anyway?" He asked "I'm Josephine" I said smiling he smiled back at me "I'm Liam" He said he had the cutest smile "I can't remember seeing you around here before" He noted sitting down on the wall I'd almost fell off of I wasn't sure if he was talking to me or not so I didn't say anything he looked up at me the sun made his eyes glitter "So are you new around here orr?" He said trailing off "Oh yeah we just moved here a couple days ago" I told him he nodded "Nice one Nice one" He said I clicked my teeth and nodded "So erm thanks" I said after another few minutes he kept watching me his eyebrows mashed together "For what?" He asked sounding confused "For the whole you know saving my life thing" I said looking away from his eyes and to my feet kicking the dirt under them he stood up "Oh yeah of course" He said smiling "So I'd best be off. Thanks again" I said turning on my heels and walking away.
