Josephine's POV
A few days had passed from when I first met Liam after he saved me at the peir and I hadn't seen him around anywhere. I found myself thinking about him all the time I don't know why because I'd only ever met him once for about 5 minutes but there was just something about him that I couldn't get out of my mind.
I hadn't really been out since that day so I decided to go for a walk around town. Half of me slightly hoping to see Liam, The other half just wanting to get away from my mother. I walked around for a while and ended up at the exact same spot as I had the other day and I sat down on the wall but this time I made sure to sit further back from the edge then before. The peir was pretty quite apart from one or two fishermen wandering around. I sat and looked out into the distanc I felt someone sit down next to me I didn't bother looking at them until he said "You must have a deathwish" I looked over to find Liam sitting beside me "And you must love playing a superhero" I said he nodded "Yeaah I have to follow in Batmans footsteps! I was about to half push you in just so I could save you again" He said laughing slightly he turned to look at me laughing slightly I rolled my eyes at him but laughed I spun around and stood up "Sorry I won't be giving you the chance to save me today you'll have to find someone else in need. I won't be falling today" I said but as I began to walk away I tripped over slightly I kept my balance thanks to Liam's grip around my wrist I sighed and looked to the floor laughing slightly "You jinxed it" He said letting go of me and turning to face me I laughed "I guess so" I said "So seeing as I've saved your life twice now.." Liam said standing up "I really think I should get something in return" He continued putting his hands behind his back as we walked i looked up at him "Oh reaaally?" I asked he nodded "Yep" "And what would that be exactly?"I asked "Well, You know there's lots of choices that might fit the bill. But you can start with buying me a chocolate bar." He told me "Your pretty cheap for a superhero I was expecting Ferrari or Privae Jet" I said he smiled "Well like I said this is just the start" He said wagging his finger at me "And how long is this list then?" "Endless! Plus because I saved you owe me twice of everything on the list" I shook my head laughing "So it's 2 chocolate bars then?" He nodded I rolled my eyes and we walked to the closest shop.
The girl working in the sweetshop knew Liam so he stopped to talk to her for a while after I'd paid for the bars I just walked around slowly looking at the magazines, I stood and watched Liam and the girl for a minute I could hear her giggiling at everything he said she was flicking her hair about every two seconds and kept touching Liam's shoulder she was so obviously flirting with him but Liam seemed oblivious to it.
Her eye's shot from Liam to me she looked me up at down slowly probably wondering how and why I was out with Liam I started to think Liam had forgotten I was here and then "So I'll see you around Sharon" Liam said smiling at the girl politely she nodded "Oh okaay bye Liam nice to see you!" The girl said smiling hugely at him she looked at me and pulled a fake smile I rolled my eyes and followed Liam out of the shop. He stood waiting for me outside and I handed him the two bars he weighed them up in his two hands and then handed one to me he laughed at me "You didn't really think I'd eat both of them did you?" He said I nodded he laughed slightly. We began walking again I was just following Liam I hadn't figured out my way around yet so I didn't have a clue where he was leading me "So you know that girl well?" I asked biting into the chocolate "Who Sharon? Oh yeah she's in the year below me in school" He said nodding I nodded slowly "Cool, Cool" I said trying to sound casual "How did you not realise how hard she was flirting with you?" I blurted out he stopped I turned to look at him and he looked confused "No she was not" He said defensively I rolled my eyes "Are you serious? Come on your not telling me your that oblivious!" I shouted he shook his head I sighed "Not the 'Oh Liam your so funny!'" I said in a high pitched voice twisting my hair around my fingers he just laughed at me "No I didn't see that but thank you for the performance" He said clapping slowly I bowed slowly.
As I looked up at Liam he was waving looking over my head I turned to see a group of 4 boys coming towards us all waving at Liam "Hey Liam!" A boy with curly brown hair said as they go near us as I watched him smile I saw he had dimples in his cheeks "And who is this?" Another of the boys with blonde hair asked looking to me he sounded like he had an irish accent I looked at him and then to Liam, Just as I was about to talk "Oh sorry yeah boys this is Josephine! You know the girl I was telling you about" Liam said I felt myself blushing slightly "Oooh from the peir?" The curly haired boy asked Liam and I both nodded "So tell us Josephine is this lifesaver story real or is Liam making the whole thing up?" Another of the boys with a black quiff asked me I laughed slightly I could feel Liam watching me as I answered "Yeah yeah it's true! Liam is just like batman he saved me." I said the boy rolled his eyes "Oh god we'll never hear the end of this" He said to the other 3 boys Liam kicked him softly "Oh by the way this is Louis, Zayn, Harry and Niall" Liam told me pointing to each of them they all waved in turn I smiled and waved back "So we're off for some foood. You two fancy coming?" Louis asked looking from Liam to me and back at Liam, Liam looked at me and shrugged his shoulders "Oh no I'd better be off actually my mum will be expecting me" I told them "Oh no don't leave on our account we can go if you two want to hang out it's okaay" Zayn said I shook my head "No no that's not it I'd really like to it's just I told my mum I wouldn't be long" I said Liam turned to me "I can walk you back if you want?" He asked as the boys walked down the road a little bit "No no you go with your friends I'll be fine" I said smiling at how cute he was being "Okaay then. Well at least let me get your number so I can text you" He said looking up at the now dark sky I swear it was orange the last time I looked at it Liam and I swapped numbers "LIAM! ARE YOU COMING OR WHAT?! I'M HUNGARAAY!" Niall shouted from behind us Liam shook his head smiling "I'm coming Niall don't worry" Liam shouted over his shoulder "Look I'm sorry I'll text you later" He said to me I nodded "Sure yeah"I said quietly he kissed me on the cheek so quickly I thought I'd imagined it, I watched him jog up to his friends and they kept elbowing him I smiled and turned around and walked home with a massive smile on my face.
