Niall's POV
I was sat on one of the park benches by the pond watching the ducks flap their wings in the water and some little kids came running past giggling and smiling. I looked around hoping Kylie hadn't followed me I couldn't see her anywhere so I guessed she hadn't maybe she's finally taken the hint. Ever since I broke up with her she'd been trying to get back with me, When I started going out with Katie Kylie was so jealous I knew she was but that didn't stop me from doing what I did at the party.
I'd just arrived with Liam in toe and I told him I was going to find Katie I walked away from him and felt a hand around my wrist I turned around thinking it was Katie but it was Kylie "Hey Niall" She said still holding my arm "Oh hey Kylie" I said I'd never been nasty to anyone before so I treid hard to be nice to her "Katie's upstairs" She said noticing me looking around over her head I looked over towards the stairs "Oh really? Okaay thanks" I said trying to walk towards the stairs but Kylie had a tight enough grip around my wrist "I'll take you come on" She said letting go and waving for me to follow her up the stairs I obliged following her up the stairs dodging kissing couple that where sitting in the way. Kylie led me into a room just off the corridor I looked around the small box room and obviously Katie wasn't there "You lied?" I asked "I.. I just want to talk to you for a minute Niall" She said I sighed I stayed standing by the door while she sat down on the bed "Sit down Niall. I won't bite you" She said politely I sighed and sat on the edge of the bed I noticed her slipping her phone into her jeans pocket but I ignored it thinking nothing of it "What is it you want to talk to me about?" I asked she sighed and played with her fingers in her lap "I.. I miss you Niall" She began looking right into my eyes I groaned "Kylie come on I see you all the time" I said mine and Kylie's mother where good friends so she was always at my house "I don't mean like that Niall. You know what I mean" She said I looked away from her big brown eyes boaring into mine "You know I'm with Katie now. I thought you'd know that that door is closed. We're not going to get back together I love Katie" I told he without looking at her I felt the bed shaking slightly I looked up at her and tears where falling down her cheeks I instantly felt horrible "Kylie don't. Please" I said moving next to her and putting my arm around her shoulder I hated seeing girls cry especially if it was my fault she was crying it broke my heart she burried her head into my shoulder she slowly moved back I looked at her and she leant in and kissed me. Just as she did I heard the door creak open "Niall?!" A voice shouted I pushed Kylie off of me and looked to the door to see Katie with her phone in her hand standing there wide eyed staring at me "Katie I..." I began but she ran off I glanced at Kylie she had a slight smile on her face I was going to say something but I jumped up and ran after Katie.
As I sat alone in the park I thought about what I could've done to stop it I knew she was jealous I should have thought I'm so stupid! How could I have fell for it? "Niall!" A familiar voice shouted I looked towards where I heard it and saw Harry and Louis jogging towards me "We've been looking for you for ages!" Louis said as they sat down either side of me "You have? Why?" I asked looking at them "Why? You just ran off we where worried about you" Harry said "Oh sorry. I just didn't want to stay there with her there" I said looking back at the pond. A few minutes later Zayn and Liam came wondering over to us "You boys hungry?" Zayn asked looking at me before I could answer my stomach grumbled "I'll take that as a yes then" He said smiling at me "Nandos?" I asked grinning at him Louis sighed "Fine fine. Let's go to Nandos then" He said I jumped up and we made our way to Nandos.
We got to Nandos and found a good table in the middle of the floor big enough for the 5 of us "Oh" Liam said looking over my shoulder I turned around to see Katie her brown hair in loose curls sitting at a table by the window with her friends Festina, Emma, Mathilde and Jevy I quickly turned back to our table "We should go" I said quickly Liam shook his head "You have to see her at some point Niall" He said "Not for me, For her I don't want to ruin her day out with her friends. She obviously doesn't want to see me" I said "Don't be stupid Niall we're not leaving now" Louis said "That's just because you want to stare at Mathilde" Harry said elbowing him laughing Louis blushed pink "No.. It's the principal of it no-ones leaving. Anyway we all know Zayn wants to stare at Emma and be all mysterious and then get all shy and ignore her" Louis said grinning at Zayn "Shut up! I don't ignore her" Zayn said looking down at the table "Oh come on mate! Every time she tries to talk to you you look away!" Louis said and with that they started arguing and slapping each other across the table I couldn't help but laugh at them.
Emma's POV
As we sat in Nandos I heard after we'd forced Katie to come out with us I heard the ring of the bell on the front foor and I thought I heard voices that I recongized I looked around Nadine to have a look at them and I was right walking across the restaurant was Harry, Liam, Niall, Louis and Zayn I couldn't stop my eyes from lingering on Zayn he was so perfect. Nadine started getting in my eyeline "Who are you drooling over?" She asked "No... Nobody" I stuttred Nadine turned around anyway and followed my gaze to the 5 boys who had now sat down at a table she turned back to look at me "I should've guessed. Zayn of course" she said laughing slightly I felt myself blushing I looked down at the table embarressed "Zayn's here? Where?" Festina asked climbing over me to have a look "Oh" She said sitting in her seat again "Why don't you ask him to come over Emma? Is he on his own?" Katie asked tucking into her food that'd just been delivered I shook my head "No he's not on his own he'll be okaay" I said "Oh come on you want to see him right? Go on he'll come over either way it doesn't matter if he has friends there" Katie said smiling at me "Call him or I will!" Jevy said winking at me "He's with the boys" I said Katie stopped for a second "Niall too?" Katie asked I nodded slowly "Don't be silly ask them to come over it's okaay it's not like I'm going to slap him or anything" She said smiling "You won't but I might" Nadine said angrily she was still annoyed about what he did I meean don't get me wrong we all thought it was horrible but it wasn't our place to get involved "Go Emma!" Festina said shoving me out of my seat "Okaay okaay!" I said.
I got up slowly and started walking over towards the boys' table I stopped wanting to run out of the whole place but when I turned to look at the girls they where doing shooing movements with their hands so I began walking again.
I could feel my palms getting sweaty as I got closer to them usually I wouldn't be so nervous I knew Zayn wouldn't talk to me he never did even when I tried to make conversation with him all I'd get was a yes or no plain answer which annoyed me but what annoyed me most is how it made me like him even more there was just something about him that drew me to him no matter how many times he ignored me and I couldn't stop myself.
I got over to their table and cleared my throat Harry looked up at me "Oh hey Emma I didn't see you there" He said smiling his usual grin at me "Hi. Erm I just came over because me and the girls where wondering if you wanted to come over, Their just over there" I said pointing back at our table "Is everyone there?" Louis asked turning to look up at me I nodded "Yeah everyone" I said "So Mathilde's there?" He asked with a glint in his eye I nodded "Yes Louis Mathilde's there too" I said rolling my eye's he was so obvious that he liked her but Mathilde couldn't see it at all she was clueless "Oh coool yeah sure then" He said jumping up ad walking over to our table the other boys followed him but just as I turned to walk back I noticed Niall was still sitting at the table confused I pulled the seat next to him out and sat beside him "Hey what's wrong? You not coming over?"I asked him "Naah I think I'll wait here I know where I'm not wanted" He said I knew who he was talking about straight away "Niall come on you think I'd have come over here and asked just four of you to come over? Katie's the one that was made me I told him he looked up at me I nodded "I don't know if she'll talk to you but she said she woudln't slap you. That's a start right?" I asked he laughed slightly I could see a hint of a smile in his lips and he got up and walked to our table with me.
