Liam's POV
"So then I walked her home after the cinema" I told Niall who had looked disinterested in the story since I'd began telling him it I knew something was on his mind that he wasn't telling me. I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn't listening to me "And then an alien jumped out and tried to eat me but I beat him up with my bear hands." I joked he looked at me in surprise "What?" He said I laughed "So you where listening?" I asked "Yeah, Well not until the alien part sorry." He said looking away again I rolled my eyes "Niall" I said he looked back at me "What?" He asked sighing I narrowed my eyes as I watched him "What's wrong?" I asked his eyebrows furrowed and he shook his head "No...Nothing" He said I tilted my head head to the side "Come on Niall you know you can tell me anything" I reassured him.
He looked to his feet and back up at me I could see pain in his eyes "Come on Niall" I said worrying now he sighed again "Well I don't know if I'll go to this party tonight" He said finally "What? Why not?" I asked him "Because like I don't want to see Katie getting drunk and being all over guys like she was after Dan" Niall said Dan was Katie's boyfriend before Niall that had cheated on her and had been for 2 months before she found out about it and she went on a binging session when she found out and we had to carry her home she was so gone. I looked at him "Niall come on that was a one time thing you know how bad she was embarressed she was afterwards plus none of us will let her get that bad. If she invited you she obviously wants you to be there" I told him with a smile he narrowed his eyes "Let me see your phone for a sec" He said reluctantly I slipped it out of my pocket and handed it to him I watched as he tapped buttons and then he squeesed his eyes shut took a breath and opened them "Just like I thought. It's just a forwarding message. It wasn't written to me especially she probaby just sent it to all her contacts" He said handing me the phone back "Niall I don't care what you say your coming tonight and that's it." I told him sounding harsher then I meant to I felt bad instantly when I saw his face drop but he nodded slowly "There's no point argueing with you I won't win." He said "It'll all be fine Niall don't worry about it" I told him smiling at him reassuringly he sighed but didn't argue anymore and we headed to my house to hang out for a bit before we headed for Josephine's house to bring her to the party.
Nadine's POV
As I walked through Katie's open front door I almost got knocked over by Katie hurrying past me with banners dropping to the floor as she crashed into me "Shit shit shit" She cursed bending down to pick then up I placed my bag onto the side table by the door laughing slightly and I knealt down beside her to help her she looked across at me "Oh shit! I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" She said I nodded "I guessed that. It's okaay Katie really" I told her standing up after we'd picked everything up that had hit the ground she put her hand out for me to give her what I had in my hand "I've got it" I said smiling at her she gave me a stressed smile in return "Thank you" She said sweetly and she was off again.
I hurried to catch up to her as she went into the massive sitting room and she dropped everything onto one of the couches I did the same and walked over to where she was looking up at the ceiling she put up her hands, framing something with them in her mind "I need to get a ladder" She said more to herself then me and she ran off again.
Then I heard footsteps behind me I'd forgotten to close the front door behind me when I'd walked in earlier I turned to find Harry and Zayn sneaking up on me "Damn" Harry said snapping his fingers "We where going to try to scare you" He said grinning at me I laughed "Not today! But thank god your here anyway I think Katie's gone a bit nuts" I told them they looked at each other then back at me "How?" Zayn asked smirking slightly just as he asked Katie came crashing in with a ladder Zayn and Harry shot forward and took it from her hands she sighed with relief they stood it up against the wall "What's this for then?" Harry asked looking from me to Katie I shrugged "It's for the banners! The banners with "Happy Birthday Sandra" Written across them" She said pointing to the messy pile left on the couch beside me Zayn and Harry looked round at it "Okaay then lets get's started Harold" Zayn said rubbing his hands together "No, no you don't have to" Katie objected Zayn put his hands on Katie's shoulders "Katie! Your stressing too much babe. Calm down we'll do this you go do what you have to do" He said smiling at her she sighed but I saw her shoulders relax under his touch "Okaay okaay, But be careful don't hurt yourselves" She said Zayn rolled his eyes at Harry who bit his lip to stop him from smiling "And don't break anything" Katie warned him slapping him lightly Zayn took his hands away and Katie looked to me as the boys got to work "Sorry about all this. I just want it to be perfect! So come on show me your outfit!" She said excitedly I grinned at her and we left the room.
