Chapter 7 (School)

I know I said I wont be able to upload this week but I started this chapter a while a go but didnt get to finish it and I had some spare time so I finished it:D

A Week Later

Kyra's P.O.V

'Buzz buzz'

I slammed my hand on my alarm clock and sat up, great school....note my sarcasm.

I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to get in the shower, after my 20 minute shower I went back to my room and went to my closet to pick an outfit out, I picked out some light skinny jeans, a jumper and my black converse, I dried and straightened my hair and just had time to add a little bit of makeup. I smiled at my reflection in the mirror, satisfied with how I looked.

I walked down stairs and just as I got into the kitchen I heard a car horn, I looked out the window to see Liam's black Audi. I pulled an apple out of the fruit bowl and ran out the door to the car and hopped in the front seat.

"Hey Li thanks for picking me up" I smiled widely at him

"It's alright" he smiled back.

We sat in a comfortable silence...I didn't want to bring anything up because I wasn't sure if Liam wanted to or not so I kept quiet. Liam and Kalen haven’t spoke for the past week so I guess they still aren't friends, Kalen has gone back to his normal self...he just needs Liam then everything will be back to normal, my mission for today was to get them two to talk because I can't stand them ignoring each other.

"Do you want me to walk you to class or is Kalen?" I was brought out of my thoughts when Liam asked me that and I just realised that we were already at school.

"Can you please? I don't know where Kalen is and I really don't want to be on my own" I asked hopefully

"Of course, come on then" he smirked

We both got out the car and started walking towards the school entrance. It wasn't long till we where outside my classroom.

"Right I will see you at lunch?" Liam asked

"Yeah I will see you at our table" I replied smiling. He nodded and walked away, I felt disappointed when he was no longer in my sight, I sighed and walked into the classroom and was surprised to see a cover supervisor at the front of the class...thank god Mrs Higgins isn't here, in my head I did a little happy dance and took my seat at the front, getting ready for four hours of sitting down.

Finally it was dinner. I silently made my way down to the canteen. Thank fully I made it and walked straight to our usual table and I was surprised to see Kalen and Liam sat together laughing...looks like they have made friends and I'm really happy for them.

I sit down and they both stare at me, which makes me feel awkward.

"Why are you guys staring me like that?" I asked

"No reason" They both mumbled in unison...ok something’s going on.

"Ok..."

For most of dinner the lads just talked to each other and I felt a bit like an outsider but I didn't want to interrupt them because they have just made friends, I just sat back and gazed at the wall at the side of me...not long after the bell went.

"I will walk to lesson on my own guys, I'm sure I will be okay" I told the guys.

"You sure Ky, we can walk you" Kalen asked.

"Yes I will be fine" I said with a smile. After a lot of convincing they finally left, luckily I bumped into Adam on the way to lesson

"Hey Adam" I smiled

"Hi" he replied sadly.

"What’s up?" I ask

"Nothing"

"Okay" I don’t know why but everyone seemed very distant today.

I just walked at the side of Adam not saying a word and he didn't speak either...there was an awkward silence between us and I didn't like it, eventually I arrived at my class and walked in and took my seat.

....

I walked out my classroom to find Liam stood waiting for me. I smiled and walked over to him.

"I see nothing happened then" he said relived

"Yep" I said while linking arms with him and resting my head on his shoulder, I felt Liam tense underneath me but let it go because he was just probably shocked at my actions because I never do that to Liam.

Our arms stayed linked till we got to Liam's car, the ride back to my house was in silence, 15 minutes later we pulled up at my house and by the looks of it my parents weren't home...again

"Thank you for the ride home"

"No problem I'll see you tomorrow"

As soon as I got out the car Liam drove away, once his car was out of sight I walked in my house...no one was home, so I went straight up to my room to start on my homework

I had just finished my science homework when there was a knock on the door. I opened the door and there stood Adam.

"Hey" he said while smirking

"What's up?" I asked a bit irritated because it was getting late and I wasn't expecting any company.

"Just wanted to come see you....why is that a problem?"He asked curiously

"No not at all, I just wasn't expecting company at this time of night" I replied

"Oh, well can I come in there is something I need to tell you and I need to tell you this before its too late...." He said nervously

"Sure come in” I replied moving to the side so he could come in.
