Marco furrowed his eyebrows when he heard a knock on his home's front door, looking around to make sure Gabriella wasn't downstairs yet, going towards his front door and opening it, seeing no one standing there, "Hello."

He spoke, looking around furrowing his eyebrows being sure that he did hear someone knocking at his front door.

But closed it when Gabriella appeared behind her dad, "Morning, daddy." Gabriella spoke, making Marco turn around, and smile down at where his daughter was, "Morning, sweetheart."

He pressed a kiss to the top of her head, "I made waffles." He stated as Gabriella smiled, "My favourite," she said with a big smile, taking her dad's hand and leading him into the kitchen where the waffles were placed on two plates with fruit near them and chocolate spread.

"Breakfast for winners," He said, turning his head seeing his daughter putting her chocolate speed waffle into her mouth, as she nods her head, mouth full of food, "Breakfast for winners." She repeated making Marco chuckle lightly, "Don't talk with your mouth full, sweetie." He said as Gabriella nods her head, eating her breakfast.

Jo honked her car horn outside of the Rodriguez' household with Marco placing his daughter's lunchbox in her bagpack that she wore as she had an extra waffle in hand, "Ri, I bought you a waffle." The blonde spoke, showing Rilynn her waffle that her father had made, "Ooh, that looks good."

Marco came towards his best friend's car, smiling charmingly at his female best friend, "I made you and Ryan some as well," He said, giving her the bag he had of three waffles inside each bag, with Jo smiling bright at that, "Are these your famous waffles?"

"They are."

Jo nods her head, knowing that her husband loved his best friend's waffles that Marco had perfected over the years, "Thank you for the waffles," Jo said, driving down the road as Marco watched his friend turn into another street.

"Andy and Jack left Montgomery in charge?"

Dean asked Maya who was beside him sorting out the compartments of their fire trucks, "Well, he's got seniority." Maya spoke as Dean furrowed his eyebrows, "Marco's a lieutenant. Wouldn't that make him captain?"

Maya shrugged her shoulders, "Jack asked Rodruiguez, and he said that Montgomery can be captain. He doesn't really care." Maya said to her fellow firefighter as Travis held the captain's book in hand, "You are looking sharp, Montgomery."

Marco rounded the corner with his charming smile, "Maya, flattery will get you nowhere." He spoke as he went to the other fire truck where Travis started to read out, "—Bishop, can you check the bottles and make sure that they're all topped off?"

Maya looked at Marco with a look on her face, as the Rodriguez male playfully rolled his eyes, "Miller. Rodriguez." He said about the two males, "Did you stock up on cleaning supplies?" Travis asked where Dean then asked, "Did you get your uniform professionally pressed?"
