Big Time Stalker

Part 7

"His best bet is to stay down until I leave. I have this very strong urge to kill him right now." Kendall stated.

I couldn't believe the rage I saw in his eyes. I walked over and gently kissed him on the cheek and whispered in his ear, "This will all be over soon, and nothing can stop us from being together. You are my everything and always remember that."

I looked into his eyes and saw the rage starting to disappear, "Kendall go get Logan and get out of here before he wakes up. I will handle him."

Kendall agreed but before he went he picked my cell phone up and hit the button so the mic was on, and they could hear everything going on around me and he left.

Joe started to come around and I went over acting like I had been there the whole time, "Are you okay?" I asked.

He was holding his head, "I think I am. Where did they go?" he asked quickly looking around.

I placed my hand on his shoulder, "They left. I told them if they didn't I was calling the police. Are you sure you're okay?" I asked again not really caring what the answer was.

He carefully got up, "Yeah I will be fine. What the hell is their problem anyway? They can't just go around beating people up."

I looked at him astonished, "Joe you can't be serious. You started this as much as I hate to admit it."

He looked at me crazy, "Are you taking their side now?"

I smiled at him, "Well no but you can't dangle a piece of fresh meat in front of a tiger and expect him not to pounce on it. I mean Kendall walked away. Did you really have to taunt Logan? That was just asking for trouble."

He was swaying almost not able to balance himself before he finally sat down in a chair, "I want you to call the cops. I'm pressing charges this time."

I had to laugh as I picked up the phone, "Well yeah calling the cops makes sense. That way they still have to be a part of our lives while we deal with you going to court and trying to have them locked up."

He walked over and took the phone out of my hands hanging it back in the receiver, "Your right. Let's just let it go and stay away from them. No sense in making things worse."

I laughed to myself, If only you knew how easy it was to play you.

The rest of the day went smoothly. Joe had a convincing argument as to why I should add him as a beneficiary to the company if anything were to happen to me and he put it in a way that made it almost impossible to say no without raising suspicions. My lawyer called confirming that it was all taken care of, and I was hoping Kendall would fix that little problem before it was finalized.

We left the office and headed for home, stopping along the way to get takeout for dinner. We walked in the door, and I excused myself to change clothes and while I was in my room I snuck to call Kendall.

He answered right away, "It's all taken care of babe." he said.

I breathed a sigh of relief, "Did my lawyer give you any problems?" I asked.

He laughed, "No apparently you had already told him about Joe a while back, so he figured there was something going on when you called him originally. It's all done, and the paperwork isn't going to be filed. As a matter of fact, I was on the phone when he shredded it."

I laughed, "You are too much you know it."

He said quietly, "Only for you. I love you more than words. We will be right outside if you need us."

I assured him I would be fine and before we hung up he said, "Don't forget to leave me a blanket." and hung up.

I couldn't help but smile at the fact that he was so worried about he me sleeps on my roof outside my window to make sure I'm safe.
