WARNING: contains mentions of SH and suicide.

We live in a small town. Im in my little office in the police department. Usually there's nothing much that goes on in here other then small cases of robbery like shop lifting.

I'm Aleksandr Soloyvov. A detective who graduated in a community College. I've settled at least 6 cases in our small town and I have a assistant. Im taller and Russian with blonde hair thats always slicked back. My natural hair is blonde but I dye it brown with the help of Gio. I dress very formally, usually going to work in a suit or the store in khakis and a polo. I come from a rich family, my dad is Victor Solovyov and runs a big corporate business in real estate. Im the oldest son with a little brother, Thomas.

My assistant come in and drops a file on the table. "Another murder last night boss. Some woman in the golden apartments," he says as he sits down and hands me my cup on coffee. I thank him and look at the file.

Small lady. Brown hair in a bob cut. No signs of mental issues or struggle when killed. From the photos, the looks like she had been strangled. Maybe suicide? Suicide cases have been on the rise since a month ago when a factory with alot of peoples jobs caught on fire.

We've been having murders more recently. And their all random. No victim knows eachother. Nor do they have any connections like family or schools they went to. Its all random and there's no traces of the murderer. Or if there's more then one.

My assistant sighs and looks at me. "When are we gonna go homeeee," he says in a whiney tone. My assistant is Giovanni. Or Gio for short. We've been dating for a year now and no one in our department has found out yet. We try to keep it secret though. Then our higher ups won't be able to nag about us being partners. They also don't want funny business in the locker rooms like some newbie and and someone who has been here for a while did.

"Let me skim over this file. Then we can go," I finally respond and I sip my coffee. I let him crawl into my lap and read it with me as I hold his waist so he doesn't fall off of me. I rest my head on his shoulder and leave little kisses on his shoulder every now and then while I read.

Gio is a very pretty guy. Hes got short white hair thats always a little messy. Hes very skinny but it makes it easier for me to hold him. He's also very sweet. He always shows up with flowers or random gifts on random days. He is very needy and always wants to be coddled and babied. I make dinner and sometimes dessert if he gets some from the store I can make. He loves strawberry cheese cake. He loves strawberries in general though so I always cut some up for him when their in season.

I look at Gio as he reads the file with me and I chuckle at his smile. He turns his head to me in confusion but I just press my head closer to his neck. I peer at the file over his shoulder. "Nothing adds up," I say and sigh, closing my eyes and opening them, turning and looking to the side. "If this goes on, the case will become cold within a year..."

Gio places a hand over mine and smiles. "Lets go home and eat some pizza from that pizza place across the street from our house. I heard its good. And we could walk there. Unless you want to cook," he says and kisses the top of my head. I sigh and blush a bit and nod. "Sounds great babe. But only if we get pepperoni and not Hawaiian pizza," I chuckle as his face drops and he sighs.

HOME

Eventually I get dressed in some tan khakis and a black shirt and I come out to see Gio waiting on me. I smile and take his hand. I grab my wallet and my pistol and put my pistol in my pocket incase that murderer comes and jumps us on the streets. Im not taking any risks when I'm with Gio on the streets and in the dark. No chance.

I hold Gio's hand the whole time and I dont talk the whole way there. I sit there and listen to him talk about volleyball and how his practices are gonna be this year or how exited he is to go out with me. I love his voice. And hearing him talk about stuff he loves. It warms my heart and I always smile when he's talking to me. Not because I try to, but I do as a reflex to his voice. Its so comforting. Especially how he saved me from self harm a while back in college and how he would always try to talk me out of it and reassure me that everything is gonna be okay.

We get sat down in a boothe and I order a water when he orders a cola. Again, I sit there and listen to him the whole time. Just smiling, nodding, and chuckling at times. When food comes out though we both fall silent as we eat. I let out a hum and look at Gio. "This is really good. Remind me to let you make suggestions more often," I say with a chuckle as I wipe the corners of my mouth with my napkin. He giggles and kicks my legs under the table. "I guess I just have better places I know to go to," he says with a smug smile and I scoff. He always has thats stupid grin saying, I told you so.

I pay the bill and we head home. I hop in bed after putting on my flannel pj's on and I call for you. "Gio! Come get in bed! Its getting late love," I say in a soft tone but loud so he can hear me. I instantly hear his footsteps and him padding up the stairs to the room. He crawls in bed and I hold him close to me. His head resting on my chest. I sigh and kiss the top of his head before turning off the lights and sighing. Thus is the one time we dont talk. indulging in eachothers presence before sleeping with eachother. I rub his back gently before slowly falling into a deep sleep. No dreams at all.
