Seleah Eaton-
Going back to pretending everything was fine was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I had been friends with Kiana since sixth grade and it was actually her idea for the both of us to become bottle girls, so when I went ghost on her and then showed back up - of course there was going to be a problem.
I adjusted the top I was wearing to stop my breasts from popping out while Kiana applied makeup to her face and attempted to check me about ghosting her.
"Listen, I know we all got our shit going on. But you could of let me know what's up and then I call your mom and she telling me she put you out. What is going on with you Sel" Kianna said and I glanced at the ground.
I didn't want to lie to her but I couldn't be honest with her either. I doubt Gianni wanted everyone knowing about our operation and what was going on with my father being out of prison even though that gossip had been spread like wildfire.
"And what the fuck is this I hear about you hanging out with Justus Spencer and his brother. You know them boys are demons" Kianna said finally turning to look at me.
"It's complicated" I admit and she looked me over like she'd be able to figure it out by just looking at me.
"You on drugs?" She questioned and I shook my head and rolled my eyes.
"Just wrong place at the wrong time. I really don't even know them like that" I admit and she folded her arms.
Our lead Nia poked her head into the backroom and made a gesture with her hand for us to hurry up.
Kianna did a fake smile and then frowned as soon as Nia walked out.
"I swear this bitch always puts us in the work sections because we're darker than everyone else. If I get one more drug dealer trying to trick on me I'm going to lose it. This conversation isn't over either" She said walking out of the room first.
I took a deep breath and followed after her putting on my fake smile while we were given our sections to rotate through.
Kianna took the lead and as we walked I frowned spotting Justus perched in a section sipping out of a bottle that he wasn't even old enough to legally have.
"We got your lil boyfriends section and another section with some players from the Rams" Kianna said sounding a bit excited about the latter.
"Let's split up" I said walking away from her before she could say otherwise. I quickly went up the steps to Justus' area and his eyes followed me all the way over to him.
"Are you stalking me?" I questioned and he smirked like he thought this was funny.
"I can't just be a trick?" He questioned and I rolled my eyes and pushed the bottle away from his mouth to stop him from consuming more.
I glanced around to see who he was with and it was just Tyriq and a few hoes in his section. Justus began smiling harder when he saw I was observing his area.
I couldn't help but take in the way his hair had been retwisted and styled in two strands. He no longer looked like a caveman and I could actually see how handsome he was and his bone structure.
