Chapter Fourteen. Angel With An Attitude

"I wish I had your tits" Jen said sadly as she helped me adjust my boobs in my black bodysuit.

I hadn't seen much of her lately, she seemed refreshed but at the same time looked like she'd been in tears for days.

"If you ever want to talk about anything I'm here" I admit and she forced a smile.

"I know, you just have to understand, I'm not use to having female friends. Friends in general until I met the boys" Jen admitted.

She plopped down on her guest bed that I'd been sleeping in for the past few weeks.

I joined her and she extended her hand to show how badly she was shaking and I held her hand.

"Talk to me" I said and she swallowed hard.

"I'm pregnant" She said and my eyes widened.

The first thing I thought of when she said that was when she and Gianni had been messing around on our impromptu trip.

"Gianni?" I asked and she shrugged and the began laughing nervously.

"Who knows? I sleep around a lot and I think he used protection? But he didn't once" She said and I nodded.

"How do you think he would react? If he is the dad?" I questioned and she furrowed her eyebrow like she was trying to think.

I didn't know him well enough to know the answer to that. He was pretty chill, but also made it clear he was not trying to settle down.

"You weren't ever with Justus right?" I questioned and she frowned.

"No, of course not. I had a thing with Zay for a little while, but I get the vibe we have the same tastes" She said.

My eyes widened at the thought of Isiah being gay. I know Justus called him names but there could be some truth to that.

"Are you thinking of keeping it?" I asked and Jen shrugged again.

"I'm already this close to being cut off from my family. I think this would be the final straw"

Jen allowed a few tears to fall before wiping them away. Her curly hair was pulled up into a bun and she wore black sweats which really set the sad mood.

"I don't have to go out tonight with them, they've sold drugs without me before. We can order takeout and watch love island reruns"

"I would love that, you're my Serena" Jen said as she wrapped her arms around me.

"And you're my Leah" I said growing emotional right along with her.

We hugged for a moment before she pulled away and dabbed at her eyes again.

"I guess I can tell you a secret too" I said and she nodded and waited.

"I had sex with Justus and I enjoyed it" I said and she covered her mouth.

"Do you like him?" She questioned and I looked down and shrugged not really sure.
