2 - Futuro

"You need to calm down, I do not have the patience to deal with you right now" the teacher said to Genya while he was having a panic attack, him and this teacher didn't go along that well, the teacher was the typical old guy that requires respect cause he's older, and Genya was the type of guy to think respect was earned.

This time Genya had a panic attack without any reason, and the teacher wasn't making it any better, he just kept telling Genya to shut up and continue to follow his lesson. "Just shut up" the teacher ended as he turned around and kept writing on the board, Genya didn't know what to do.

Kanao, sitting next to him, she placed a hand on his leg to keep it steady and try to stop the shaking, Genya was grateful for that, but he still kept shaking anyways, she didn't know what else to do anymore, she just sat her, her hand on his leg, while he tried to calm himself down.

Kanao didn't know how to help, she looked at Tanjiro from across the classroom, he saw what was happening, but going to help him would only make the teacher more angry and Genya more panicked. Genya without thinking grabbed Kanao's hand, his hand shaking.

She just squeezed his hand to reassure him that she was there with him, and she wasn't gonna leave. Slowly, Genya calmed down, or at least the effects of the panic attack died down, he needed to get out of the classroom and take a walk, or at least drink something, but the minimum thing would piss off the teacher, and Genya really didn't need that.

The bell rang, immediately Tanjiro sprinted to Genya to check how he was doing. "Genya! I'm sorry I didn't do anything, how do you feel?" He asked him, trying not to overwhelm him "tired..." Genya simply said, he probably didn't have the strength to go through the rest of the day.

"Call your brother to come pick you up..." Kanao suggested, but Genya quickly shaked his head "no, he's busy...I don't wanna go home" he said, Kanao thought it was weird, but she didn't question it further, she just took away her hands from Genya, looking at him worriedly.

"Let's go freshen up a bit in the bathroom, okay Gen?" Tanjiro asked him, Genya nodded as he got up, Kanao followed them until they were in front of the males bathroom, Kanao stepped back and waited for the two boys. Genya splashed water on his face, Tanjiro keeping a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"I hate him..." Genya said, Tanjiro couldn't help but agree with him "I hate him too, what he did was horrible, we need to tell the principal, he can't just do that!" Tanjiro protested, Genya just shaked his head "why not? I'm sure miss Amane will understand" Tanjiro insisted.

"I don't wanna cause trouble..." Genya murmured "he should've helped you! Not make things worse on purpose!" Tanjiro pouted, this was a big deal to him. "Oh please, he probably doesn't even know what panic attacks are, he's probably friends with dinosaurs from how old he is" Genya said, Tanjiro chuckled a bit.

"Yeah you're right" Tanjiro said "but no time for jokes, you need to report this" he added, Genya just groaned "I'll think about it, don't worry your head over it" Genya said, as if he was just brushing off what happened, Tanjiro wasn't happy, and he just groaned "what I have to do with you?"

They got out of the bathroom, then they walked around a bit, both Tanjiro and Kanao were trying to calm Genya down, trying to relax him after what happened by letting him breath and take a break, and Genya was grateful for it. They arrived to the empty lunch room, it wasn't time to eat, but it was a nice place to hang out for a bit.

"Damn I forgot my phone, one second I'll go grab it" Tanjiro said as he left, leaving Genya and Kanao alone "do you wanna listen to some music?" Kanao asked him, he just nodded as he got out his earphones, he gave one to Kanao, then he choose the song, but he stopped before he put it "it's in Italian, do you mind?" He asked "no, it's fine, go ahead, I like Italian music" she said as Genya put the song.
