It's hard to spot a narcissist,
They are the only ones who can put on an act,
With no stage lights,
For years.
They can suck your soul away,
Take away who you are,
Without you even noticing.
Some hide behind being a martyr,
Doing everything for you,
Claiming they are acts of love.
So that you are defenceless and hopeless without them.
Then they use every kind act,
As ammunition.
To break you down,
Your pride,
Your esteem,
Your ego.
So you never think you are good enough.
That's what happens when you love a narcissist.
