Kriyanshi walks out of the washroom and sits at the dressing table, drying her hair. She’s wearing a red long suit and, without any makeup on, she looks just like a doll. While getting ready, she completely forgot about Rivansh’s presence.
Meanwhile, Rivansh was lost in her beauty. It was true that Kriyanshi was always beautiful and he had always found her lovely, but today was different. Today, there was no fear on her face, but instead, a different kind of confidence. The way she was getting ready so freely—this wasn't the Kriyanshi he knew. She had always been very shy and timid.
After getting ready, Kriyanshi looked at Rivansh and said, "If you keep staring at me, you won’t get ready. Go, freshen up, and then we’ll go for breakfast."
Her words snapped Rivansh out of his thoughts, and he headed towards the washroom. As soon as he left, Kriyanshi sighed in relief, took out some clothes for him from the wardrobe, and went downstairs.
As soon as she arrived, Sheena, with a frown, said, "lo aa gayi maharani itna late aayi ho nashta kaun banayega?"
(Well, the queen has arrived. You're so late, who's going to make breakfast now?)"My dear choti sasu maa kya apko nahi pta yaha itne saare naukar hai toh khaana wahi banayenge mere husband ke paas itne paise hai ki woh ye sab afford kar sake phir mujhe ye sab karne ki kya zaroorat aur aaj se pehle mai toh yahan nahi thi toh kya aap har roj meri yaad mein bhukhi rehti thi?"
(My dear little mother-in-law, don’t you know there are so many servants here? They will cook. My husband has enough money to afford that, so why do I need to do it? And before today, I wasn’t even here, so did you starve every day waiting for me?)
Hearing this, Rehan, Shivi, Vani, and Raghav burst out laughing, while Sheena’s face puffed up with anger.
Rivansh, who was coming from behind, heard Kriyanshi's words and seemed quite impressed.
Angrily, Sheena spoke again, "Girl, you're talking too much. It's the duty of the daughter-in-law of this house, and you are the eldest daughter-in-law."
"A tongue is meant for speaking, mother-in-law. As for all these duties, I’m sure my husband just needs a life partner, not a servant. Isn't that right, Mr. Husband?" Kriyanshi said, looking at Rivansh, who was standing behind her.
Rivansh was already impressed by all her responses, but hearing her last line made his heart skip a beat. This was the first time Kriyanshi had addressed him as "Mr. Husband" so confidently.
Not getting a response, Kriyanshi assumed he hadn't heard her and repeated her question.
"Mr. Husband, aapne bataya nahi aapko kya chahiye?"
(you didn’t tell me—what do you want?)"Jo tum dena chaho" (Whatever you want to give) Rivansh replied in a dreamy voice, making Kriyanshi pout. She stepped closer and said, "kal tak toh bada pyar- pyar kar rahe the ab kya hua apke pyar ka haan bataiye in logo ko apko life partner chahiye ya naukarani"
(Just yesterday, you were all about love. What happened to your love now? Go on, tell them—do you want a life partner or a servant?)Hearing this, Rivansh glared at Sheena. Sheena, who had been breathless since seeing Rivansh, had no idea he had been following Kriyanshi. If she had known, she wouldn’t have said a word.
Rivansh took Kriyanshi’s hand and led her down the stairs, pulled out a seat for her at the breakfast table, and said to Sheena, "I told you before to speak my wife with respect, but it seems you’re taking me lightly. That’s not good."
"No, no beta, I was just telling her the duties of a daughter-in-law," Sheena began.
Cutting her off, he said, "I don’t care what you were telling her, but you cannot disrespect her. Otherwise, I will forget that we share any relationship."
Sheena couldn’t say another word, her hunger had disappeared after hearing Rivansh’s warning, and she silently cursed Kriyanshi in her mind.
Later, when everyone was done with breakfast, Kriyanshi approached Sheena and whispered in her ear, "mujhe kosna ho gaya ho toh apna nashta kar lijiye warna uske liye bhi mujhe he kosengi"
(Now that you’re done cursing me, please eat your breakfast, or else you’ll blame me for that too)
With that, she started following Rivansh. Rivansh had gone to his room to get the watch he had forgotten. As he turned around after grabbing it, he found Kriyanshi standing there. He raised an eyebrow as if asking, "Is there something you want to say?"
"Can I come with you to the office?" Kriyanshi asked, understanding his look. Rivansh’s eyes widened with surprise.
Kriyanshi continued, "I’ll get bored at home, and I’ve studied to work, not sit at home. If I work somewhere else, you won’t allow it. But I can work with you and learn a lot from you in the process."
Rivansh was staring at her in amazement. Her attitude had changed so much that he was beginning to doubt whether this was really his wife.
Kriyanshi looked at him with puppy eyes. He wanted to refuse, but seeing her cute face, he just couldn’t say no.
Hearing his approval, Kriyanshi got so excited that she jumped with joy and suddenly hugged Rivansh.
Rivansh stood there stunned, and watched as she told him to get ready and left. A faint smile crept onto his face.
On the other side,
As Siya woke up, Daksh brought her breakfast. Without saying a word, Siya quietly started eating, knowing she had a lot to do ahead and needed to stay strong. For that, her health had to be in good shape.
She began eating with her hands when Daksh said, "Finish your breakfast and freshen up, then we’ll go to the mansion. Mom is waiting for us."
Hearing this, Siya looked up at him.
