18. Siya's love and betrayal

When Daksh asked her what she wanted, Siya, looking into his eyes, said, "You."

Daksh was stunned by her response he hadn't expected this at the moment. He was staring into her eyes as if searching for the truth within them.

"You weren't ready until now, so what changed suddenly?" he asked, still looking into her eyes.

"You left me with no other choice, and I haven't wanted anyone else besides you, so what else could I say? But if I am giving you everything and making myself yours, then in return, I want you."

"But I already belong to you."

"Really?"

"Any doubt?"

"Doubt? Why would there be doubt when I know you have a girlfriend? You say you love me, so why did you promise to marry her? Just as you can't tolerate me talking to someone else, how do you think I can tolerate being your wife and having another woman so close to you? I want you to love me, and only me."

Siya's eyes were teary as she said this.

Looking at her, Daksh said, "I admit I deceived you to get back at you, but that doesn't mean that girl, who came into my life recently, will come between us. She's not my girlfriend. She likes me, and my mom agreed to her because of business reasons, but trust me, only you have a right to me."

"Daksh, I want you to love me too."

"Alright, but in return, you have to be mine completely, both in soul and body."

"I'm ready, Daksh."

Hearing this, Daksh kissed her forehead and left. As soon as he left, Siya's expression changed, and gritting her teeth, she said, "You all have taken my life from me. Now, I will take everything from you, and it will begin today. Even if I have to give myself to you for this, I will do it. In the fire of my hatred, you all will burn. That's my promise."

Rivansh and Kriyanshi got out of the car near the parking area. As soon as Rivansh got out, a guard came to him with his head lowered, to whom he handed over his car keys. Holding Kriyanshi's hand, he led her towards his private lift.

Seeing this, some employees in the office were shocked. No one had ever used Rivansh's lift before. It was strictly for his use, and no one else had permission to use it. As soon as everyone's curious eyes fell on Kriyanshi, she felt uncomfortable. She wasn't someone who sought attention, and she didn't like all the looks.

Sensing her discomfort, Rivansh gave everyone a sharp look. Immediately, they all returned to their work. Then the two entered the lift.

After a short while, the lift opened right next to Rivansh's office, and he led Kriyanshi to his cabin. Telling her to sit on the sofa, he sat down in his chair.

As soon as he sat, his assistant Rishi came in. Rivansh, gesturing towards Kriyanshi, said, "Madam will be working here from now on."

Before he could say more, Kriyanshi interrupted, "And no one here should know that I'm your wife."

Hearing this, Rivansh glared at her, while Rishi, with frightened eyes, looked at Rivansh.

Rishi knew what he had to do, so he quietly slipped out of the room.

As soon as he left, Rivansh grabbed Kriyanshi and laid her on the sofa, saying, "Don't test my patience, cotton candy."

Frightened by his sudden move, Kriyanshi stammered, "What did I do?"

"Why don't you want anyone to know that you're my wife?"

"If everyone knows, they will give me too much attention, calling me 'maam' all the time, and it will be said that I got the job because I'm your wife... which is true, but still," she said thoughtfully.

Listening to her entire explanation, Rivansh said nothing. Then, looking at her, he said, "Why don't you become my P.A.?"

"What? No, no, I can't be your P.A."

"Why, is there any problem?"

In her mind, Kriyanshi thought, "yes you are the biggest problem, and you're asking me if there's a problem."

Seeing her lost in thought, he asked again, "Wifey, what are you thinking?"

Coming out of her thoughts, she replied, "Nothing, I'm just not capable enough for that position."

"You are my-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Kriyanshi interrupted, "Mr. Husband, please don't force me. I just want to work as a normal employee."

Rivansh just nodded his head, and Kriyanshi, flashing a smile, left the room.

Her walking away like that didn't sit well with Rivansh. If he could, he would have locked her in his cabin right then. He could do that, but because of Kriyanshi's injury, he restrained himself. He recalled what the doctor had told him.

"Look, Mr. Raichand, you have to take good care of your wife and make sure she doesn't experience any stress. Too much stress will affect her mind, which is not good for her health."

Thinking this, he closed his eyes. Looking at his face at that moment, no one could have guessed what he was thinking.
