"No Miss Kelly we can't just let things slide like that, I feel you should do little bit of a more research for this presentation." You told your coworker, who was always been a pain in your ass, but being the leader of your team you couldn't just resist them all. She left as you took a deep breathe and sat on your chair, then sighed. "It's been damn hectic today." You said as you looked at your childhood bestfriend who sat infront of you.
"Okay then, let's go for some drinks tonight." She suggested, while you nodded in agreement. It was the very first day of the week but still you were exhausted by the people around. You both continued working until the evening and it was finally the time for you two to get rid of all your stress. "So, where are we going?" You asked HaRi your best friend, she excitedly looked at you and said "Club." your eyes widden in excitment as you nearly jumped.
"Oh my- but we didn't carry our appropriate outfits." "Why to worry when you got me." HaRi said and pulled you along, as you collected your belongings to an alienated floor of the building. It consisted of a few rooms for the family members so that they could help themselves with there belonging and rest, HaRi took you to her personal one. "Oh I nearly forgot." She looked at you and smiled while you both sneaked into the little wardrobe area to select dresses for the night. Slipping them on with some minimal make with hairs hung open, you both reached to the club.
You both were welcomed with the strong mixed smell of alcohol and cigars, high pitch music and people dancing around. Overall you felt cool vibe over there. "Let's chug in something refreshing." HaRi suggested and you guys straightaway headed towards the bar area, after having some drinks she again said. "You know YN, why I had actually brought you here?" "Why?" You asked with some confusion on the face. "I had a good news." You smiled gesturing her to continue.
"My elder brother Taehyung, he's finally coming back after years and you know he said he'll work in this branch of the company from now on. Mom and dad had already decided on his CEOship in our branch. I'm so happy for him." She was happy for her brother but you, you felt your skipping beats. You never thought he'll come back, you thought once he's gone, he's gone you won't see him ever but you never know what god's plans looks like.
"You know, he literally worked day and night to prove himself in the States. I'm so proud of my brother." She said while you were already feeling rollers of emotions inside you. Now that he was coming you were curious of how he looked and what is his personality traits. You had known him as a child but what kind of a man he is, you wondered. You really wanted to know alot more about him till now you only knew he is ambitious and dedicated to his work, but what about his heart? You gave some thought and started speaking.
"When you went to meet him last time it was four years back, and he never takes your video calls, he's worst at social media. Then how will you know how he literally looks like." You asked as the curiosity got best out of you. "I don't know. But you know when he'll be there the world will just spin around for everyone in the office." You both chuckled and took a few more sips of your drinks.
The next day, in HaRi's dad's cabin. "So HaRi we are willing to promote you. Are you ready to become your brother's secretary?" Her eyes widden. "Woah! Woah! Dad do you want to set this company to the fire or something? Because to melt down that iceberg I'll definitely need to do that. Plus I can't handle his shit everytime." "Language little girl." Her dad warned her.
"Okay I'm sorry. But I can't with him, why don't you appoint YN for that job. She would be able to handle him better, because knowing myself well I won't be able to take up his bossy self all the time. Plus he can be irritating sometimes. I know I'm being selfish but YN's the best choice, and I know she won't even deny you dad." HaRi's father sighed and asked a staff member to call you. Reaching there you greeted Mr. Kim and others, while he placed a hand on your head, he was totally like a father figure to you.
"YN are you willing to work with Taehyung as his secretary?" Again your heart skipped beats, you were more than happy to do that. You nodded your head, "Yes Mr Kim I will." They all smiled at you while HaRi said, "See I told you YN won't deny your words." You looked at her with a frown and hit her on her head, making everyone chuckle. "So YN you could take all the responsibilities from today itself. Taehyung will come tomorrow morning to have a look at everything, but he'll join day after tomorrow. Take care of his whole schedule and rest everything. You'll be provided a list what are his likings and dislikes."
You nodded your head and left the cabin with HaRi. "So, congratulations on your promotion." "Thank you my lady." You dramatically bowed at her making you both chuckle. Well you weren't reflecting anything on your face but deep down your weird feeling were doing summersaults inside, you felt butterflies on his arrival.
Time skipped to the night, you were in your bedroom thinking about Taehyung, as your childhood memories flashed infront your eyes.
Flashback to your childhood
You and HaRi where playing in her room when Taehyung came along with his mom and sat next you two on a couch with a book in his hand, as Mrs Kim placed the glasses of milk on the table. "Kids finish it off, okay!" You both noded while she smile and left when you both looked at Taehyung, and HaRi said. "Big brother what are doing here in our room? Go and read your book somewhere else."
Taehyung looked at her and took a glance at you. "I like it here in this room, the atmosphere is filled with happiness so I'll not leave." HaRi made a weird face at him while your cheeks turned red. You keep on stilling glances at him as he was ungrossed in his book.
Flashback ends
You smiled at the little memory and drifted to sleep. The next morning you woke up and got ready in your best attires for your first day as Taehyung's secretary. You wore black pants, white shirt and a black overcoat, did minimal makeup and tied your hairs with a rubberband. Checking yourself for the last time you quickly left your house and reached to the office just in time. It was 9am while Taehyung was suppose to reach by 9:15am.
You paid a quick visit to his cabin just to recheck everything, when suddenly your phone buzzed with a call from an unknown number. Picking it up you were welcomed with a deep voice on the otherside. "Miss Lee, at the entrance in five." Your eyes widden while your heart skipped a beat. "Was it him? Was it really him?"
You thought but without wasting anytime you quickly walked towards the entrance, your heart was beating as if it would burst out of your ribs. Your legs were practically shivering but you still managed to walk. You stood right infront of the entrace when a luxury car stopped by. The back door of the car opened revealing a heavenly beauty infront of your eyes.
Tip to toe he was an epitome of ultimate beauty and aura. His features were as crisp as wafers. His jaws were knife like sharp, his lips and the mole on the lower lip was already doing something inside you. His nose with another little beauty spot was making your heart do saults, his siren eyes were doing magic to you. While his exposed forehead with long hairs pushed back perfectly were making you loose your sanity. His attire was a more casual one for a CEO, as he wore brown pants, pink shirt and an antic watch. May be because he was just there to have a check on everything for now.
Your heart was beating so hard that you couldn't even realise when did he stood right infront of you, just a few inches apart.
