Uvais's Punishment

Shaista was scared now that Uvias ordered her to come to his cabin. She did not want to go to him seeing how much angry he was.

She decided to leave d0f1 Shaista's forehead to see if she was suffering from fever , but her temperature looked normal.

" Shaista kya hua? Are you alright!! Sir ne toh tumhe unke cabin mein bulaya hain unse milke Ghar chali jaana " Zainab suggested.

" N..nahin Zainab mein s.sir se kal mil lungi meri tabiyat theek nahin lag ri "

Saying so Shaista left the college more like ran away from there.

On the other side Uvais was waiting patiently for Shaista to come though he was so angry.

He checked his wrist watch. It had been 15 mins since he left her class but she still did not come to his cabin.

Being frustrated he himself walked back to Shaista's class to check what she was doing.

To his surprise her place was empty.

Zainab walked to him and informed him that Shaista was not feeling well so she went home .

Hearing that Uvais anger infuriated more. He just have Zainab a nod and went back to his cabin.

" Jitna chupna hain chuplo Jaan , aana toh tumhe Ghar hi hain wapis " saying so he packed his belongings in his office bag and started his way back to his home.

He was so angry that he did not even bother to follow the rules of speed limit.

Guards opened the gates on his arrival .
He parked his car in the garage and walked to the front door.

He rang the home bell and to which the worker opened the door.

He thought Shaista might be in the room. He took long steps towards his room ( stairs ) impatient to see his wife but to his surprise his room was empty.

He checked the next room but it was empty too.

He descended the stairs to ask his workers about Shaista.

" Aap logon ne Shaista Mam ko kahin dekhan hain? " He asked everyone loudly.

To his surprise they replied
" Sir , Madam ghar hi nahin aayi abhi tak"

Bile rose in his stomach and his heart started pounding wildly.

He started getting tensed about her absence.

He called his mother to ask whether she was at their place but she wasn't there too.

He called the university again but she was not there too.

He reached the café where Shaista usually enjoys her free time but she wasn't there too .

Uvais was feeling Helpless and was unable to understand what to do.

Atlast he called Shaista's mother to check whether if she was there.

" Assalamualaikum Ammi " Uvais greeted Shaista's mother as soon as she answered the call.

" Walaikum Assalam beta , khairiyat " Shaista's mother asked about his we'll being.

" Ji Alhamdulillah Ammi , Sorry to disturb you but kya Shahista waha hain" he asked calmly

" Ji beta , uske kamre mein so Rahi Hain , usne kaha ki tumne usey Aaj mere yahan jaane keliye bola tha , kuch hua hain kya beta? " Shaista's mother enquired worriedly.

Uvais sighed and calmed down knowing she was at their mom's place .

' Toh tumne socha ki tum , tumhare mama ke Ghar chali jaogi toh mein tumhe chod dungi . Bilkul nahin Jaan tumne mere gussey ko aur badhaya hain , dekho ab mein kya karta hoon ' Uvais thought in his mind.
