AT THE MEETING ROOM

It hasn't been long since the explosion........

Things grew dire since the occurrence and death of the Premier, and things escalated quickly from then on. A meeting soon was arranged whilst I was tended too at the infirmary, and thankfully I didn't break any bones. Only a few new fresh scars that will be added to the litter of scars on my body I've already gained, having a deep gash across my belly and collarbone that needed stitching. Gauzed and made sure I had some meds to take to dull the pain, I was back on my feet. Even Hanji was concerned when hearing the news, and directed herself towards me instantly the moment she arrived to the Main Headquarters.

Standing beside Hanji within the room, my attention wearily focuses on the whomever was speaking still feeling fuzzy from the explosion.

"Premier Zachary had his 'Custom Chair' brought to his room today," Roeg addresses the situation. He reads over the notes that were written, "We believe that whoever delivered the chair must've planted a bomb in it. In the addition to the Premier himself, the explosion killed three soldiers and Section Commander Akira here.....fatally injured. We don't know who was behind this, or what their motives were."

Standing with many Mp's surrounding the long wooden table, I could feel some intense gazes fall upon me. I'm in such a pathetic state, having my life barely spared from the attempted murder of Zachary and myself included.

However it was directly aimed at the Premier....

"All but one of the volunteers have been on house arrest," Hanji candidly explains, gesturing to Onyankopon that stood behind us quietly and level-headed about it all. "...and Onyankopon here was with me all day."

Lifting my steady gaze towards Roeg and Commander Nile, "If your wanting proof, the Premier himself had given permission for Hanji to seek Onyankopon......." I inform them, with clear information. "The chair was there just before I entered the office, so the evidence is clear in regards to Hanji's claim."

"Then can you think of anyone else who might've been responsible?" Roeg questions me, before his eyes falter a bit when meeting my piercing gaze. "Section Commander Akira, even though you were in the room at the time of the explosion, and was accompanying him at the time of this incident. Maybe....you could be the one--"

"Before he died, Premier Zachary said that a group of recruits brought the chair to his office," Armin cuts him off, unintentionally. Appreciating Armin's concrete confirmation of my evidence, I straighten myself promptly.

"Where were these recruits from?" Commander Nike questions, folding his arms with a troubled gaze.

"He never told us what branch they were with," Armin answers, filled with uncertainty. "But as Mikasa and I were heading to his room for our appointment, we happened to notice a group of recruits leaving HQ in a rush......and those recruits were Scouts."

Suddenly a realisation hits us all, earning shocked expressions from everyone else around. All sharing the same expression, they all fade back to neutral expression noting how the tension changes quickly.

"Speaking of your regiment, I hear that a few of your Scouts were arrested and charged with leaking information about Eren to the public," Nile mentions, changing the topic quickly. "We do--"

The door abruptly slams wide open, "Urgent News!!!!!!" An MP shouts, apprehensively. There was no break in between, allowing us to stand there in shock and the tension building and building again. "Eren Yeager escaped!!!! He broke out of his underground cell!!!"
