Lorna came back from the terrace. She found Liz on the telephone, talking with the laundry service, probably. Walking to her bed across the woman, she settled herself on the soft mattress and waited for her company to finish talking with the service.

"Sure. Thanks." Melisca said and put down the telephone. She looked around her, scanning her eyes from where she might have thrown her socks earlier. She squatted down and searched under the bed, there, she found it.

"What did they say?" Lorna asked without glancing at her as she's tapping the screen of her mobile, replying to someone.

"The laundry service will be here in a minute to fetch our clothes and we can have it back tomorrow afternoon. Is it okay we leave at that time after they delivered it to us?" Melisca stood up and gathered her used outfit, the leather jacket and black half-finger riding gloves, red cotton sleeveless shirt, black skinny jeans, socks and undergarments. She loves the combination of black and red, for her, it looked cool and dangerous.

"Only if you include mine." The girl replied with a sheepish grin on her face and grabbed her used clothes from the floor.

      "Sure."

Melisca heard footsteps outside the door, then stopped and a knock sounded three times. She stood up,  went to the door and glanced through the peephole, though she already thought it was the laundry service, still, taking extra precautions wouldn't hurt.

She opened the door and didn't make the laundry girl get in the room anymore. They both just put their clothes on the basket the personnel was carrying.

"The charge would just be added upon check-out, right?" Melisca inquired to the girl when Lorna entered back to the room. The two of them remained outside.

"Yes." The service girl answered with a slight shake in her voice and she can't even look at Melisca straight to the eyes.

"If anything is damaged in there, we won't pay any amount of your service, understood?" She spoke with a plain tone, not to scare the girl but just to warn her.

"Y-yes, is there anything else?" She finally glanced up at her and their eyes met. Melisca smiled but her eyes gave warning that the girl bowed her head immediately.

"Don't worry, I don't bite, and yes that's all, thanks." She closed the door without waiting for her to respond anymore.

Lorna was already laying down on her bed, fumbling her phone. Her droopy eyes, a sign that any time now, she would fall asleep. However, Melisca went to the vanity mirror and sat down, her turn to dry her hair. She knew it would take some time from the length of it.

The buzzing sound of the hair blower startled the girl behind her that her phone jumped from her hand, Melisca saw it through the mirror's reflection. She almost laughed at that but she bit her lips to stop herself. Lorna now fully awake again, continued to use her mobile.

After some time, when her hair was damp enough, she turned off the blower and put it back on the table. Lorna behind her only half-awake now, her lids almost closing.

"What time is it already?" She asked, the girl flinched in her voice and moved herself to a sitting position.

"Ten, I'm hungry." Her reply with a heavy voice.

Melisca looked at the bags of food on the table under the Led TV stuck on the wall.

"There's food in there." She pointed and turned to the vanity table again to unplug her electric lighter from charging. "Help yourself out."
