Doesn't come easy

Have you taken
the time to process
it all, or was it easy
ripping the band aid
off?

Don't blame you for
choosing yourself;
might resent you a
little though, because
I couldn't do it myself.

Giving it my all is my
greatest fault, knowing
that the chances of us
working out were slim to
none.

'Cause love doesn't
come easy to those who
wear their hearts on their
sleeve. Ironic really, and
a bit sad actually.
