Remus and Sirius are in their house standing in what would have been their daughter's room crying missing their little miracle every day. Spending every day wondering if she was safe or dead was pure torture to them. All the not knowing slowly kills them knowing that even if they did somehow find her they wouldn't recognize her she would be a teenager now. But they knew deep down that if they ever did manage to find her they would just know that it was their baby girl.

James and Lily arrive at the house walking straight into the house knowing where to find the grieving couple. Walking up to go and comfort them on the anniversary of their daughter's disappearance was always hard. They could feel the pit of sadness growing inside them as Lilah was also named their goddaughter and in their world that made a parental bond form. They would need to letter Harry and make sure he was also doing ok knowing he had developed a godbrother bond with her so this day was also hard on him.

The couple make it to the top of the stairs staring sadly at their friends pushing their own emotions down to comfort the grieving parents. Looking around the room you would think a teenage girl was really living here the closet was filled to the brim with clothes that any teenage girl no matter the style would love Sirius always insisting when his baby came home she would need options. Remus had a bunch of books on a bookshelf that he thought she would enjoy. The Potter family always would help them change the style of the room finding it sweet how they always wanted to make it perfect. As the years went by the couple made changes as they knew their daughter got older. Many felt sorry for the couple that never gave up hope that their daughter would one day return.

James went to comfort Sirius and Lily went to Remus holding their crying friends in their arms whispering reassuring words and rubbing their backs to try and soothe them. Knowing that there is nothing to say that would take away their pain because nothing can fix the heartbreak of losing a child.

All of a sudden an owl is seen pecking on the window with a letter Remus asks Lily to check it. Lily nods softly standing up to retrieve the letter. The Lupin Black couple assumes it is another letter wishing them well in this difficult time not having the energy to read another pity letter which is why Remus asked Lily to check it.

Lily reading the letter gasps tears coming to her eyes hoping this isn't a sick joke someone is playing on them. The letter said to go to Hogwarts and that Lilah would be there for all to watch her life along with some of her friends.

All three men look up quickly when they hear her gasp James takes the letter to read it for himself the contents of the letter make him feel hopeful of possibly meeting his goddaughter. But he can't help to fear that this is some sick cruel joke being played on his friends. Sirius wanting to know what is going on snatches the letter to read for himself. Remus also gets up reading the letter over Sirius's shoulder tears gathering in both of their eyes after reading the letter both immediately go running to the Floo network wanting to already be there. Both worry that she might already be there waiting.

But turn to glare at James when he grabs their arms to stop them. James throws his hands up in defense when he sees their angry looks directed towards him "I think it would be best if me and Lily went first to make sure the letter isn't lying." Lily nods in agreement not wanting her friends to get hurt if it was just a joke but sighs when they run to the Floo network immediately throwing the powder down and yelling out "McGonagall's office" since that was where the note said to Floo to then directed them to head to the great hall.

James and Lily immediately follow behind  James promising that if this is a joke he would make the person regret it. Lily nodded in agreement before they Flooed away after their friends.

In the great hall, Harry is seen pushing his food around on his plate ignoring his friends' pitying looks. Hermione knowing he needs to eat tries to encourage him but frowns when he ignores her feeling bad that he lost his sister figure. Most always told him to get over it because it was so long ago and they only knew each other as babies but none understood the sibling bond even if they weren't blood siblings the bond would always be there.
