Second Chance at First Line

Scott is leaning with his back against his locker, only half-dressed in his lacrosse practice gear, staring at nothing with a dazed expression on his face as he processes the fact that Allison made up a lie about sleeping with him for some reason and worrying about how he can convince Lilah he would never do something like that. But even he knows it looks bad really bad which makes his anger start peaking again wanting to get rid of the bitch that is already causing problems. Stiles, having just finished getting ready for practice, is walking across the room when he sees Scott and stops to talk to him "Did you apologize to Lilah?"

Scott, still feeling angry clenches his jaw giving a slight nod.

Stiles isn't satisfied by this short answer and looks at him with a slightly exasperated expression "Is she giving you a second chance, or...?"

Scott then goes on to explain everything that he knows. Stiles lets out a gasp before shouting "That Bitch!" Multiple people look his way making him give them a mind your business face.

This causes another round of laughs to be heard around the hall all agreeing with the boy completely.

Melissa and Lily who have been getting to know each other also subtly cheer Stiles on Noah who noticed them shook his head with his own smile.

Stiles starts brainstorming ways to prove his friend's innocence but is stumped. He sheepishly says "Just talk to her man tell her it was an asthma attack and you didn't have it on you and you dropped your phone. Lilah is nice and understanding I am sure she will forgive you especially when even I can feel the hatred you have for Allison. You are making it very obvious right now you are not a fan of hers." Stiles says trying to make him laugh at the end. Scott doesn't laugh but he does nod with a determined look on his face.

Then Scott casually says that Allison's father is a hunter and shot him with a crossbow not finding it nearly as important as his Lilah situation. Scott runs off to practice ignoring Stiles's shocked face at him just casually just saying he was shot by the bitches father like it was no big deal.

Melissa scoffs "Yea, just say it so casually like it's no big deal! [she pauses before glaring at said man] That reminds me." She picks up one of the apples on the table and throws a perfect shot at Allison's father. 

Leaving him stunned on the floor at how hard the woman was able to throw the apple. Lilly nods knowing the man deserved it before saying "yes! thats my new bestie!" making Melissa laugh.  James looks at his wife shocked "You just met her?!"

Lily just looks at him like he is stupid and says "Welp Melissa and I are now best friends"

James just looks at Sirius feeling confused what the hell is welp? Sirius looks equally confused and tells him to just go with it.

Stiles goes to run after Scott to ask more questions but accidentally trips over his own feet and nearly falls to the floor in the process.

Scott and Stiles arrive at the lacrosse field just as Coach Finstock has begun announcing their first task "Let's go! One-on-one from up top!"

Coach turns to look at Jackson, who is running onto the field "Jackson-- take a long stick today."

Jackson nods and drops the stick he was holding in favor of the longer one that Coach instructed him to take before running back onto the field. "Atta boy!" Coach yells as he watches

Jackson takes his place on the field, and when Coach blows his whistle, he scoops up a ball and the team starts the play. The players run around the field, passing the ball to each other and shoulder-checking their opponents as they try to score a goal, with Coach watching with a focused expression as he follows their movements from the sidelines. "That's how you do it, Jackson! That's how you do it!"
