The Avengers cast had gathered for a night of celebration—the final day of filming for the latest Marvel movie had finally wrapped. There was a buzz in the air, a mix of relief, excitement, and the anticipation of good times ahead. The whole team, from directors to actors, had come together at a local bar to mark the occasion. Laughter filled the room as everyone congratulated each other on another successful production.

For Anastasia, it was more than just another movie. It was her 'first' Marvel movie, a milestone in her career and in her personal journey. The cast, though initially wary of working with someone so closely tied to Scarlett, had come to love Anastasia as much as her mother. The last few months had solidified her place in their quirky, chaotic little family.

"Congratulations, kiddo," Chris Hemsworth said, ruffling Anastasia's hair as they stood near the bar. "First Marvel movie in the bag. You crushed it."

"Thanks, Chris," she replied, rolling her eyes but smiling. She had gotten used to the playful teasing from him and the others. "Couldn't have done it without the team."

RDJ, sitting nearby, grinned. "You were great, Anastasia. But more importantly, you're free from Scarlett's clutches now. You don't have to be her mini-me anymore."

"Mini-me?" Scarlett scoffed, mock-glaring at him from across the table. "Excuse me, but I think Ana's the upgraded version."

Anastasia snorted, giving her mom a side-eye. "Please, you're the original. I'm just riding your coattails."

Everyone laughed, the easy banter reflecting how close they had all become. They spent the first hour or so just reminiscing about filming, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, and teasing each other. The energy was high, and the drinks were flowing.

---

Once they reached the bar, things got a little looser. The cast had spread out, some on the dance floor, others chatting by the bar. Anastasia was sipping a soda—Scarlett had put her foot down when it came to alcohol. At 20, she was technically still underage, and Scarlett still saw her as the kid who would steal sips of her wine when she wasn't looking.

"Come on, Scarlett, I'm not that young," Anastasia groaned as her mom gave her a water bottle.

Scarlett crossed her arms, smirking. "You're not 21 yet. And as long as you're with me, you're not getting wasted."

RDJ, ever the mischief-maker, leaned over and whispered, "Don't worry, kiddo, Uncle Tony's got you." He slid a shot of tequila toward her when Scarlett's back was turned. Anastasia grinned and downed it quickly, wincing at the burn.

"Cheers to that," she muttered, grateful for RDJ's rebellious streak.

---

As the night went on, the bar got more crowded, the music got louder, and the cast got tipsier. By 2 a.m., most of them were well on their way to being drunk. Scarlett had loosened up, chatting with Chris Evans and some of the crew at the bar. Anastasia was laughing with RDJ and Hemsworth when she noticed a guy making his way toward her mom.

He was tall, a little too confident, and clearly drunk. He started dancing next to Scarlett, inching closer with each move. At first, she tried to ignore him, but when he leaned in and started flirting, Scarlett tensed.

"Can you not?" Scarlett said, shifting away from him. "I'm not interested."

The guy didn't take the hint. Instead, he smirked, getting even closer. "Come on, don't be like that," he slurred. "You're Scarlett Johansson. Live a little."

Chris Evans, ever the protective friend, stepped in, putting an arm between Scarlett and the guy. "Hey, man, she said she's not interested. Back off."

The guy scoffed but didn't back down. He followed them as they moved toward the rest of the group at the bar, still making unwanted comments toward Scarlett. Anastasia, noticing her mom's stiff posture, immediately knew something was wrong. She walked over and asked, "What's going on?"

The guy glanced at her, then back at Scarlett. His face twisted into a sneer. "This your daughter?" he asked, his voice dripping with disdain. "Guess it runs in the family, huh? Too good for the rest of us."

Anastasia's blood boiled. She had put up with plenty of snide remarks from people, but when it came to someone insulting her mother, she wasn't going to let it slide.

"Hey, shut up," Anastasia snapped, stepping between the guy and Scarlett. "Just walk away."

But the guy didn't stop. He started hurling insults at Scarlett, calling her names that made Anastasia's hands clench into fists. Her eyes narrowed dangerously.

When the guy continued his tirade, Anastasia didn't hesitate. She grabbed him by the hair, yanked his head back, and drove her fist into his face. The sickening crunch of his nose breaking filled the air as the guy stumbled backward, blood gushing from his nostrils.

He collapsed to the floor, groaning in pain, and Anastasia crouched down beside him, her face a mask of cold fury. "If you don't fuck off now," she hissed, her voice low and menacing, "or your nose won't be the only thing that's broken." She jabbed a finger toward his crotch, making her threat crystal clear.

Chris Evans and RDJ, who had witnessed the whole thing, instinctively grabbed their own crotches in fear, wincing. "Yikes," RDJ muttered, clearly both impressed and terrified.

The guy, spitting blood onto the floor, was quickly dragged away by security. As he was led out of the bar, Anastasia stood up, wiping her hands on her jeans and turning to the rest of the group with a mischievous smile. "Shots for everyone!" she declared, raising her arms.

The crowd cheered, raising their glasses as drinks were passed around. RDJ clinked his glass against Anastasia's, grinning. "You're a force to be reckoned with, kid."

Anastasia grinned back before walking over to where Scarlett was standing, still a little shaken from the incident. She looked her mom in the eyes, her expression softening. "You okay, Mom?"

Scarlett blinked, surprised. Anastasia hadn't called her "Mom" in a while. Scarlett felt a lump in her throat, her emotions threatening to get the best of her, but she managed a small smile. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks, Ana. You...you didn't have to do that."

Anastasia shrugged, trying to downplay it, but there was an undeniable protectiveness in her voice. "Of course, I did. No one messes with you."

Scarlett's heart swelled, and for a moment, she just looked at her daughter, pride and love flooding her chest. They didn't need to say much more. They just stood there together, sharing a moment of understanding.

---

The night went on, and the cast continued to party, dancing, laughing, and celebrating. Anastasia, Scarlett, Chris, and RDJ found themselves at the center of the fun, joking around and playing pool as the rest of the crew mingled.

At one point, Anastasia leaned against the bar, watching the others as they goofed around. She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to find Scarlett standing there, holding two drinks.

"I thought I'd bring you a non-alcoholic one this time," Scarlett said with a wink, handing her the glass.

"Thanks, Mom," Anastasia said casually, taking the drink. Scarlett's heart skipped a beat again, hearing that word come from her daughter's lips for the second time that night.

"You're welcome, Ana," Scarlett replied, her voice a little softer than before. They clinked their glasses and drank, side by side, feeling more connected than they had in a long time.

It had been a long journey, but they were finally finding their way back to each other. And for the first time in years, both of them felt like they were exactly where they were meant to be.

---

As the night began to wind down, the cast gathered for one final toast, raising their glasses high in the air.

"To family," Chris Evans declared.

"To family," Anastasia echoed, her eyes meeting Scarlett's.

And in that moment, everything felt right.
