The team headed inside, the excitement of the basketball game giving way to a more serious atmosphere. Y/N, still feeling uneasy, immediately suggested, "We should search the grounds and the forest. I know I saw something out there."

Wanda and Pietro exchanged worried glances. "Y/N, you should stay inside," Wanda insisted gently. "We don't want to lose you again."

Pietro nodded in agreement. "We'll handle it. Just stay here and be safe."

Reluctantly, Y/N agreed, watching as some of the team headed back outside to search. He paced the room, anxiety gnawing at him. When the search party returned, Tony shook his head. "There was nothing out there, Y/N. You must've just seen something."

Y/N's face flushed with frustration. "I definitely saw something out there! Let me check."

Tony sighed, trying to remain calm. "We all just checked, Y/N. There wasn't anything out there."

"Why won't anyone believe me?" Y/N shouted, his voice echoing through the room. Without waiting for a response, he stormed off to his room, slamming the door behind him.

Yelena, sensing his distress, quickly followed. She found him sitting on his bed, his head in his hands. She sat down beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Hey," she said softly. "It's okay. We'll figure this out."

Y/N looked up at her, his eyes filled with frustration and confusion. "I know I saw something, Yelena. Why won't they believe me?"

Yelena sighed, her expression sympathetic. "Sometimes people need more proof. But I believe you. We'll get to the bottom of this together."

Her words brought a small measure of comfort to Y/N, and he nodded, grateful for her support.

Y/N lay back on his bed, the weight of the day's events pressing down on him. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before turning his head to look at Yelena, who was still sitting beside him. Hesitantly, he reached out, his hand gently touching her arm.

"Yelena," he said softly, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "Can you... can you stay with me? Just for a while?"

Yelena looked at him, her expression softening. She could see the exhaustion and worry in his eyes. Without a word, she nodded and lay down beside him, wrapping her arms around him in a comforting embrace.

Y/N sighed, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as he nestled closer to her. "Thank you," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Yelena held him tightly, her presence a soothing balm to his troubled mind. "It's okay," she murmured. "I'm here. You're not alone."

They lay there in silence, the warmth of their closeness providing a much-needed sense of security. For the first time that day, Y/N felt a glimmer of peace, knowing that no matter what happened, he had someone who believed in him and stood by his side.

Being close to Yelena filled Y/N with a mix of emotions. On one hand, he felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and security. Her presence was like a soothing balm to his troubled mind, easing the anxiety and fear that had been gnawing at him. The warmth of her embrace made him feel safe, something he hadn't felt in a long time.

On the other hand, there was a flutter of excitement and nervousness. Y/N had always admired Yelena, and being this close to her made his heart race. He cherished these moments, feeling a deep connection that went beyond friendship. Her touch, her scent, the sound of her breathing—all of it made him feel alive and cherished.

As he lay there, nestled in her arms, Y/N couldn't help but smile. Despite the day's chaos and the uncertainty that lay ahead, being close to Yelena made everything seem a little more bearable. He felt grateful for her support and silently vowed to protect her, just as she was protecting him.
