Journal Entry #1: Rainbow Dash gave me these flower seeds when she woke up, I must say that was very thoughtful of her. Usually, she doesn't bring anything back for us. It doesn't matter, I just planted them in my garden. Hopefully the animals enjoy them.

Journal Entry #2: It's only been a day, and the seeds are sprouting, they grow quite quickly. It seems some of the... more poisonous bugs are quite fond of them. As well as the snakes and frogs. However, most of my other animals stay far away. Not Angel though, he seems to be all over them. I should probably keep him away from the flowers, so he doesn't eat them or something.

Journal Entry #3: The flowers are budding, I noticed they seem to have a strange blueish-purplish glow to them at night. Its possible Rainbow Dash got me a nocturnal plant. Though, usually the bats, wolves, owls and other nocturnal animals will stay near those kinds of plants. They avoid these like the plague. It's a little strange. I just hope they turn out okay.

Journal Entry #4: It's been a few days since Rainbow Dash brought back those flower seeds for me, they've already bloomed into lovely flowers. I'm not quite sure what they are though. They look like hibiscus, which shouldn't be able to grow in this environment. I'll have to ask her where she found them, they are so beautiful. The animals still avoid them though, Angel has stopped trying to go near them. It's quite concerning.

Journal Entry #5: I tried to ask Rainbow about where she found the flowers, but I haven't seen her yet today. She's probably still tired from that long flight, she refused to take it easy for a while there. I'm sure she's just crashed on a cloud somewhere... she'll be fine.

Journal Entry #6: I haven't seen Rainbow Dash at all today either, apparently, she was with Applejack for a bit before flying off. Applejack said she was acting strange; I do hope she's alright. As for the flowers, I noticed one of my animals ate one. I wonder why only one...

Journal Entry #7: One of my snakes is acting strange, and all of my animals have fled far away from him. I'm bringing him to the vet later, I hope he didn't get sick. Still no sign of Rainbow Dash, and the flowers are glowing at night. It's a little too bright if you ask me.

Journal Entry #8: I took him to the vet, and he bit the poor mare. She said she was feeling sick and ran out. Probably to go see Nurse Redheart, I found him dead in my garden later. I had to bury him... Angel helped. Another flower went missing though.
