Legend of the Half Heart Magical Hybrid Kunoichis: Origin of the Ooze

Chapter 1

A long cold air was enough for me and my siblings to travel back to our real home, our Earth. It had been an exhausting battle, risking me to rescue my sisters and stop Shadowside from her evil plan. I managed to rescue them all and now, we have traveled back home. We were completely exhausted, well for me. I barely had enough scratches and wounds on my plastron and my skin was bruised. Mechchan had offered to come along with us because she was gonna be a fugitive in her Ukia so we decided to let her stay here. Mother was completely proud of us for what we all did. No more C.L.I haunting us.

Just a few years ago, we were conducting experiments in the facility until Kanako Kuoro discovered the truth about Shadowside's evil plan. She wanted to wipe out humanity and replace the world with super soldiers and she wanted us to be milking experiments, drain our blood and brainwash us into soldiers. She had rescued us, sacrificing herself to stop the plan and we were found by Ikioi. Years of being sheltered in the forest of an abandoned plane, we discover a meteor who crashed into the bank of the river. Rinku Myu, a fairy who came from a different world, told us that a pending disaster is about to happen and gave us brooches to allow us to transform into magical warriors to fight enemies and other villains. We were successful, traveling around so many different worlds, facing so many monsters and ending Shadowside once and for all, avenging Kanako Kuoro. However, my sisters had died of being drained of their last blood. I cried for them longingly until my tears revived them. We were all reunited, back together again and now we are at peace.

"I am very proud of each and one of you," she would say.

It really wasn't that much but we did manage to tell her the adventures we had and new friends along the way. The yokai world where Yokai lived, the alien world of Ukia, almost got captured by Okimas and enslaved as circus warriors. We never haven't eaten since we stopped Shadowside and mother gave us every berry, fish and shellfish she had ever foraged. The sound of my sister's laughter filled me with hope. Now that we are back together again, we can still be a team.

"I am so glad you were never unharmed," she smiled.

"It was thanks to Shira," Manako said, looking at me. "She revived us and defeated Shadowside."

"That is probably true," I murmured. I was completely covered with a few bandages to cover my wounds, sustained by Shadowside. "But I am glad we're all together."

"That's right, Shira," chirped Rin. "If it wasn't for you, we could have been in danger."

I kinda felt pretty proud of myself, even in this forest which was Mie that some people would call, I could have been even happier than my siblings. Things will be fine.

In the cold hours of the night, we were all sleeping in our den. Mechchan is resting, Rin is in the nest, and mother is curled into her den. I was very sure everything was so peaceful, the moon shining above the shadowed trees, the sound of little critters filling in the bushes and stars twinkling in the air.

I was certain that there would be a morning of dawn until I smelled something. Could be mother cooking up breakfast for us, rice, maybe fish stew. No. That wasn't that. The air felt very strange, like something is burning. It smelled like smoke. Sitting up and slowly opening my one eye, I looked over to where the smell was coming from. Peeking over the edge of the airplane's windows, I heard some angry shouts and yells coming from below the bottom. I gasped in horror, seeing a group of humans holding fire torches and burning the forest. Suddenly, I knew what it was. Alarmed, I cried out.

"Fire! There's fire in the forest!" I cried. My family woke up in fear, as I scrambled out of my den in a fright. "We have to leave now!"

"What's wrong?" Rin asked, confused. She slowly flew herself out of her shrine, smelling the smoke that was growing bigger.
