Legend of the Half Heart Magical Hybrid Kunoichis: Origin of the Ooze

Chapter 3

It took a while for me and the rest of my sisters to find P.E.R.I Robotics. Keno said that it is located in Nakono City near Shijuku and Shibuya. I began to lead my sisters where the building must be located. Keno had described to us that it is a circular building, unlike the rectangular shapes of C.L.I. I was quite sure that we might be able to find it. He gave us the blueprints of where the floors of C.L.I are that were printed out but one room had been blotted out, like something told us that the humans told us not to enter that room. There were trespassing signs to lure people away and the barbed fence holding around the building. That is where we must go and find out the secrets of where P.E.R.I robotics are kept. Mother had told us that we need to stick to the rooftops because it might be safer instead of the streets in our mutant form.

Climbing onto a rooftop, we can see a circular ball which is almost the size of a mountain.

"Looks a lot like C.L.I but completely circular," I murmured. "You sure this is the place?"

Tomoka began to analyze the building and took quick checks. "I think this is it. We're really gonna head into that building. But with those guards around, we can't get inside."

"Where can we get in?" Manako asked.

"They're are a lot of security lasers located in every hall and a few guards. They close around at nine. I am sure Keno did told us," said Tomoka. "We cannot sneak our way in there because the lasers will cut us into tiny sizes, and the magic box will spy us."

"Okay, that's true first of all," said Shira. "But we can trespass into the city property. What if scientists experiment us again? We cannot let our blood get drained again."

"Oh, you are so right," said Manako.

"Well, what can we do? We could not send ourselves in package delivery," Rin replied.

How could I ever think of it before? Package delivery is the perfect disguising plan. Looking around and finding a delivery truck with empty boxes, we hid ourselves in separate boxes while me and Rin went into one box. It was quite dark, with a lot of foam, making me difficult to breathe. My sisters at their separate boxes were thinking the same thing, too. We kept ourselves very, very still and quiet until I heard a thump. A human was dragging the box where me and Rin are inside the building. My heart was completely pounding like a drum and I took a few breaths to calm down. I just couldn't breathe well inside that box and I was sweating like a storm I just wanted to get out of the box. But I can't. I heard a thump, making me tremble. Peaking over, I saw that I was in the storage room.

"We're in," Rin said, keeping her voice low as possible. "You guys can come out now."

Looking over, Manako, Tomoka and Reika came out of the boxes and climbed out. It was so difficult to breathe in, since there isn't any breathable holes inside and it was so cramped inside. The lights are too dark but we must be in the storage room. Lots of cardboard boxes and robot raptors that we had encountered are still being delivered. At least there is no human entering the storage room.

"This is what P.E.R.I Robotics looks like?" Manako asked, looking around in amazement.

"We must be getting close," I said. "Stick together everyone." I motioned my sisters and began to head to the doors to the main lobby.

Once we were inside, we were quite amazed. The ceiling is like colorful lights with white circles and the path below is glowing. So glad there are no security guards. Must be closed for the night. The lobby around us is very huge, so big under our eyes. Rin led us to the stairs and we rode our way up on a calming side and we made it onto each floor. It was like they were moving by themselves, like it was magic or something. We traveled around the corridors, looking for answers until we found the lab on the 37th floor. We had to avoid the security beams and the cameras watching our every move. To avoid them, we had to get behind the cameras. And Tomoka, she had an idea to put robotic butterflies on the lens so they get distracted.
