True 2: The Maze Troll

Chapter 2

Two weeks later...
(At night, True stands outside the door of her house. Spotlights light up the sky in the distance. She stands there, with a serious face, seemingly waiting for something. Cumulo floats beside her, glancing at True with an impatient look on her face. She squeaks.)
True: Not yet, Cumulo. When Bartleby calls me via Face Bubble, then we'll go. For now, we wait.
(Fireworks shoot up at the sky, and explode in multiple colors. True looks up at them and smiles warmly to herself.)
True: They really put a lot of effort into this...
(Suddenly, her Wish Pack's badge rings. True taps the badge, and a Face Bubble pops up, with Bartleby's face appearing on it.)
Bartleby: They've finished the opening speech. You can come over and do the honors.
True: Got it. Thanks, B.
(She pops the bubble, then turns to Cumulo.)
True: Cumulo, let's go.
(Cumulo lets out an excited squeal, and True boards her.)
True: Take me to the heart of the Rainbow Kingdom!
(Cumulo squeals happily in reply, and launches off of the grass lawn True was standing on. Cumulo zooms across Mushroom Town, then under a bridge. She then flies around every building that she sees, with different stunts being included with every building she passes.)
True: Woo!
(Once Cumulo flies around the last building, she zooms as fast as she can towards the heart of the Rainbow Kingdom, where a stage has been built. Down near the stage, all of the Rainbow Kingdom's citizens cheer as a red rope divides the crowd and the darkened, constructed festival. Bartleby stands on the stage, waiting for True.)
Bartleby: Come on, True...any minute now...
(The Rainbow King's guards hold a large scissor, and the Rainbow King looks up at the sky in worry.)
Rainbow King: Where is she...
(Cumulo squeaks, and everyone looks to the back to see True speeding across the pathway to the stage.)
True: Hey everyone!
(The crowd cheers for True. True waves as Cumulo makes her way to the main podium where Bartleby and the Rainbow King, along with the Guards, are standing. Cumulo slowly lands herself on the podium. True rubs Cumulo's head.)
True: Thanks, Cumulo.
(She gets off of Cumulo and waves at the audience. Bartleby holds out his hand to the microphone.)
Bartleby: The floor is yours.
(True walks over to the microphone, and the audience goes quiet.)
True: Thank you all for coming to the grand opening of our new Kingdom Wide Festival!
(The crowd cheers.)
True: This is something I've been working on for a long time, and now I can finally share it with all of you. We've got a lot to show you, but I think it'd be best for you to find out everything for yourselves. It's the fun part of it.
(The crowd murmurs, seemingly planning what they will do at the Festival once it opens.)
True: That's enough of my yammering, though. I'm pretty sure you guys want to get to it right away, so let's open this once and for all!
(True walks over to a large strand of red string, with two poles holding it up on either side.)
True (whispering): Scissors, please.
(One of the Rainbow Guards nods, and hands over the scissors. True takes them, with a smile on her face. She then faces the audience.)
True: Ahem! It's my great pleasure, that I announce the Rainbow Kingdom's first ever Kingdom-Wide Festival...open!
(She cuts the large strand of red string in two. The crowd roars with applause, and many fireworks shoot upwards and light up the sky. Confetti cannons shoot out confetti and it rains all over the audience. Music plays through the speakers, and True and Bartleby wave.)
Bartleby: All of you have fun, okay?
(The crowd continues roaring with applause. Meanwhile, outside of the podium, and the ceremony, the Maze Troll watches from the top of a nearby tree.)
Maze Troll: There she is...
(His wand glows.)
Maze Troll: The fabled hero.
