Amarkot's court was silent with the new revelation of trouble spiraling up. The worry of the invaders has always been on the minds of them all. Rajputana seemed to be at the brunt of the first wave of entry. The westward entry of the invaders meant that they were at the peak of struggle. Durga Kumar, Ameya's commander, had followed ahead on the orders of the Prince. When they had entered Amarkot, Rana Madhavdas was expecting some troubling news.

"Maharaj, I request you not to stress hard on it. Rajkumar Ameyajit of Kalika Empire has sent us here for that very reason. It was the aim to make sure that the invaders do not come here any time soon." Durga Kumar assured. "The army that has followed me is a part of the bastion of Rajkumar Ameyajit. We are here on his behalf. Driving them away from the boundaries of Aryavarta, Rajkumar Ameyajit will join us here."

"I expect that this is only the beginning, Senapati ji. I expect that such attacks will continue from now on." Madhavdas worried.

"I agree with your premonition, Rana ji. It doesn't seem to be stopping soon. Rajputana has once taught them a lesson but now they are returning here. I worry that soon enough we might fall into their hands. "

"Such a thing is impossible, Maharaj. As long as the Kalika Empire stands, there can never be a downfall of Aryavarta. Just as how Hanuman is eternal, so is the land of Kishkinda." Durga Kumar answered with confidence. The idea that any Emperor of the Kalika Empire would ever let the sun set on Aryavarta was horrifying to him.

Madhavdas simply gave a smile as an answer. No empire can be eternal and he knew that. Yet, seeing the eagerness and activeness on the face of the commander of the Prince, he stayed silent further on the matter of the future perspectives.

"We are extremely thankful for the support, Senapati ji."

"Kalika Empire's Yuvraj marched personally along with Rajkumar Ameyajit to drive the invaders out of here. Yuvraj has driven them out of Vijargarh and asked Rajkumar Ameyajit to proceed ahead and not stop until they have disappeared out of the border. The army of the invaders would either run from the kingdom of Amarkot or Deogarh."

The atmosphere in the court of Amarkot was charged with tension as the news of Deogarh's unexpected proposal reverberated through the chambers. Vardhan Singh, the minister of Amarkot, voiced the concerns that echoed in the minds of many. "This is bad news in both ways, Ranasa. Deogarh isn't very friendly to us, and they might actually allow the invader to move towards us. Their Prince, Kunwar Tapt Singh, has a great enmity with us."

"Rajkumar has personally proceeded towards Deogarh, so I doubt personal biases will make a difference. Our policy has been already installed by the Yuvraj regarding the invaders from outside of Aryavarta."

"We still doubt the reaction of Deogarh."

"As a sandhi prastav, Rajkumar Ameyajit has offered the sword to Veer bhai Kunwar." Durga Kumar brandished the sword on behalf of Ameyajit.

That set a new wave of shock within the court. A proposal wasn't even thought of for a split moment. It was unheard of for the southern half of the Aryavarta to send a proposal so up ahead to the north.

Rana Madhavdas, the ruler of Amarkot, found himself caught in a dilemma. The proposition from Kalika Empire, a kingdom located far to the south, was unexpected, to say the least. The court buzzed with whispers, the corridors filled with shocked murmurs from the women who hadn't anticipated such a turn of events.

Rana Madhavdas glanced toward his wife, Maharani sa Vijaya Bai, seeking solace in her presence. The women were all in the corridor above the court. A thin translucent curtain was present between them and the men below. Yet, it was easy to notice them. Her eyes were focused on his own, her expression mirroring his confusion. It was evident that this offer was anything but ordinary.
