"I GENUINELY CAN'T LEAVE YOU ALONE FOR FIVE MINUTES." josie turned around, trying not to laugh when she looked at the blonde again. "okay. enough. it's literally the way i asked for a few braids on either side and like-" paige sighed, knowing josie was about to lose her shit again. "go ahead, laugh." josie cackled, throwing her head back as paige held her head down as they walked the streets of turks and caicos.
josie gave paige a sad smile, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "okay, it could be a lot worse." she tried to help, running her fingers through the ends of the blondes hair. "okay- ow. my head still really hurts jos." paige flinched, moving away from her hand. they walked to a pool area, looking for a place to sit. "well it's not too crowded here, so hopefully nobody catches you lacking." josie put her towel down on an empty chair, before throwing out paige's onto the one besides her. the blonde shrugged, taking off her shoes and sitting down. her phone had been blowing up nonstop, all of the girls asking about her post on her tiktok last night.
"okay- im gonna put the timer for ten seconds, so get ready." paige looked up, motioning for josie to lock in. "girl, im not the one laughing everytime." she snapped back, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. paige rolled her eyes, staring the button. she adjusted how she was standing, making sure her and josie were both in frame. josie wrapped her arms around paige's neck, pulling their faces close together. "i cant believe we have to go back in two days." she whispered, waiting for the timer to end. paige pressed a soft kiss to josie's lips, smiling once she hears the tiktok audio start going.
"don't forget that you lean backwards first!" josie giggled, still flustered from moments prior. paige was smiling down at the brunette, moving her arms to the beat of the audio. 'cause there's nothing like it, not like the way you move.' paige shimmied backwards, laughing with josie. "now you gotta go backwards-" paige held back more giggles, trying to hear the beats of the song. 'i can try but i can't hide it from you' they both burst out laughing, rushing to watch the finished result. "i look so stupid in this dress!" paige cackled, admiring the brunette. "oh please, you look fine."
they walked hand in hand through the town, looking for a place to grab a snack before they got back on the boat. "what do you wanna get?" josie looked up at paige, smiling at the sunburn forming on her cheeks. "i don't even care, im starving." paige groaned, looking around at the food stands that littered the path to the ship. "i might just get some like, steak or something. we can share?" the brunette pointed over to the stand a few feet away, waiting for paige to zone back into the conversation. she was just staring at josie, smiling. "your so pretty." she smiled, caressing her cheek softly. josie blushed, covering her face with her hands. "paigeeee." she giggled. they walked hand in hand, completely engrossed with each other.
josie wrapped her arms around paige's shoulders, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "i'm sorry for laughing at you, baby. i think your hair looks...good!" josie tried to fix paige's bruised ego, knowing she was only making it worse. paige huffed, melting into her girlfriends touch. they sat by the pool for a few hours, in their own world.
