The Lost Innocence

I was discharged from Hawkes Bay Hospital after 3 days. They took photos of my bruises that they thought were from my Uncles and Aunts until I reassured them that it wasn't them and that it was my parents. They nodded and decided that if I wanted to live with someone that I could trust then I could use those photos as evidence against my parents. I nodded and thanked them and walked out.

When we arrived in Wairoa, my uncle told me that I'll be living with him and my aunt Juna. My aunt Kati decided to stay with us as well as uncle Kiwa, just to make sure that I'm safe. I loved it there. I got to do what I wanted. Play with my cousins, play games I've never played before, watch tv (cause I was never allowed downstairs unless I was cleaning), play video games like the X Box, the Wii, PlayStation 2. It was like a dream come true! I watched the  Harry Potter movies (well up to The Order Of The Phoenix but whatever) with my cousins and I was obsessed! I wanted to be Hermione cause she was so pretty! Ron was a dick at first but he was ok I guess. My favourite film was Prisoner of Azkaban because of Sirius. He was so hot! Well... I thought he was hot. But when I saw him in Order of the Phoenix, I KNEW he was hot. He looked so "dapper" as the pakeha say. But I really loved Draco. He was so cute and handsome.

My aunt Juna would bring me and my cousins sandwiches and Ribena for lunch. And just so you know... she makes the BEST butter chicken. It was so creamy and the chicken was so tender! My uncle Paora told me that my nan will be here tomorrow and I nodded. I was kinda scared cause I never met her before. She used to come to dad's house every Christmas and I had to stay in my room and be quiet. Kinda sounds like Vernon and Petunia telling Harry to stay in his room and be quiet. So basically... I'm Harry. And my parents are Vernon and Petunia... wow. I just need a good looking Sirius Black and three friends and I'll really be Harry!

The next day, I wanted to look nice for when I finally meet my Nan so my Aunt Kati and Juna took me shopping at Kmart. I don't like dresses but they got me a couple anyway. They also got me some jeans and some tops with writing on the front that said 'Metallica',  'AC/DC' and 'Guns 'n' Roses'. They were pretty cool and I liked them. They wanted to buy it for me but I wanted to buy it myself so I pulled out my piggy bank, took off the bottom and started shaking it. My two aunts looked at each other and smiled. Of course, I didn't have enough so my aunt Kati paid for the rest. We grabbed our stuff and went home. I rushed inside and I was gonna show them to my uncles but I saw a car pull up. It was my Nan. I rushed up the stairs and into my room and changed into my clothes. I then rushed down the stairs and my nan stood at the foot of the stairs. I looked at her and smiled. "Hi Nan" I said and hugged her. "Aww bubbah hello there!" She said to me and held me to her chest. She pulled me away from her and said "don't worry bubba, you're safe now." I looked at her with love and happiness and hugged her again. "Hey. How about I take you to the A and P Show, huh? Would you like that?" I nodded and she gathered all of us together and we all went to the Show. It was so fun! I ate candied apples, candy floss, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate churros, ice cream, I went on all the rides at the Show, played their games, won $500 on the make a shoot hoop game and watched dogs walk on a rope and do tricks. This was the best day of my life. My nan came over to me and asked if I wanted to live with her. "Will my aunts and uncles live with us?" "No baby, they will live in their whare. But do t worry! Your aunt Juna and uncle Paora will live near us! So you can go to theirs whenever you want, ok?" She assured me by rubbing my back. "Ok Nan" I say. By the time 4pm rolled around, I was out like a light in uncle Paora's arms. He carried me to nans car and hopped on his Harley and we left for Aucks. My nan hates planes so she drove to Taupo and then stopped to have a break. I love my life... so far
