Over the past year, Touya had been training with Yuzuki. On one hand, his flames were getting stronger. On the other hand....
"Why do you seriously still want to be a hero?" Tenko asked him one day.
The two sitting in his room, reading some manga Tenko had gotten. The two had been reading Naruto a lot recently, seeing as how even now, they were still setting a few boundaries.
"It's all I've ever wanted!" Touya retorted. "Besides, it's not that simple! I also want to take down Endeavor!"
"Well you obviously need stronger moves if you're going to do that." Tenko said sharply, the eleven year old scratching at his neck. "UA's entrance exam is going to be in ten months from now. If you want to be a hero, that's the perfect shot."
Touya considered it. While he had voiced his wants to Yuzuki and dad- ahem, Akihito, he was still working on not burning himself. Yuzuki had developed a medicine that would keep him from burning up, but.... Well, she still needed to make the shift permanent.
"Hey," Tenko suddenly said. "Check out the Susanoo."
Touya glanced over Tenko's shoulder at the creation, grinning.
"Ha. Could you imagine if I did something like that with my flames?" Touya said jokingly.
The two then paused.
".... Is that possible?" Touya questioned.
"Only one way to find out." Tenko said, smirking.
*Later on....*
"Where are you going?" Tenko asked, seeing Yuzuki getting dressed.
"Hm? Oh. I own a small bar not far from here." Yuzuki responded.
Tenko frowned. Himiko was learning medical stuff from his father. Touya was training to be a hero. He was the only one not doing anything!
"I want to go with you." Tenko said firmly.
Yuzuki's eyes widened slightly.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yes. I need to grind up on EXP anyway. The sooner I max out my stats, the better."
Yuzuki smiled, nodding. Tenko quickly got on his shoes, throwing on a hood, before following his mother through one of Kurogiri's warp gates. Once they arrived at their location. Tenko looked around. Honestly? The bar didn't look like much. He personally thought it could use more lights.
"Alright, stay quiet." Yuzuki told him. "I have a few important customers coming in tonight, so watch your manners."
Tenko nodded quietly, sitting on a barstool behind the bar as people started coming in. Yuzuki greeted each one with a smile, and began making drinks, Tenko watching with wide eyes. At first, he never understood how she could do it alone with only the occasional help from Kurogiri.
Now he could see why.
Yuzuki moved through the bar quickly, no quirk needed, her movements fluid and coordinated with her surroundings. When she was making drinks and mixing cocktails, she was also greeting guests, making small talk as she moved. While she poured shots, she was also laughing and enjoying what she was doing.
Her movements weren't as tense and focused as when she was Spite, not at all. It almost looked like she was dancing. Tenko was, safe to say, mesmerized. He'd never thought he'd actually witness something this.... This impressive.
"Can I help?" Tenko finally spoke up.
Yuzuki glanced over at him, thinking for a moment.
"Okay," She said, looking over at him. "But only when I say so, alright?"
Tenko nodded, determined.
*Meanwhile....*
"Let's review." Akihito said, looking over at Himiko while Touya practiced his flames. "Now, darling, tell me about the blood types. Let's start with A."
Himiko nodded, the now seven year old saying "Type A can only take type A blood! Oh, it also tastes more irony than the others!"
"Wonderful! What about B?"
"B can only take B, and that one tastes less irony, more thinner!"
Akihito grinned. HA! Take that, Yoichi! How's this for not knowing medical stuff, huh?!
"Now, what about AB?" He asked her.
"Hmm.... AB is a um.... It's something about taking blood?" She hesitantly said.
Akihito chuckled, patting her head.
"A universal taker, sweetheart."
"Yeah, that! It can take any blood it wants, and tastes tangy!" Himiko quickly said. "Last is O blood! O is a universal donor, so it can give away blood to anyone!"
"Good job, sweetheart-"
The two then felt a nearly blinding heat, looking up with wide eyes at Touya. Touya appeared to be focusing all his flames around himself.
"Here we go!" He shouted, grinning. "It's nowhere near complete, and I can only hold it for a few seconds, but...."
The flames around him slowly shifted, taking a form that Akihito remembered from the comics that he'd seen Tenko read. Sure, it was still small, and could definitely use work, but....
"Ultimate Move: Valiant Susanoo!"
The creation rose up.... Albeit, it was still rather wonky as it was, it was only the top half of the Susanoo, and there wasn't yet any weapons for the Susanoo, but it still looked amazing.
"Color me impressed, Touya." Akihito congratulated. "A move like this would take a normal fire quirk user years to master. However, you mastered such a complex attack so soon! And with barely any prior training!"
Touya grinned, before letting out hiss, quickly lowering the Susanoo.
"Damn it!" He scowled. "It's not good enough! Susanoo is still unstable, and until mom finishes developing that medicine, I'll keep burning!"
Akihito and Himiko both froze for a second.
"Say that again." Akihito requested.
"What? Until mom finishes developing that-"
Touya recoiled, blue flames igniting along his cheeks as his face flushed red.
"One of us! One of us!" Himiko chanted.
Not even a minute later, Yuzuki and Tenko came in, Tenko raising an eyebrow.
"What did Matchstick do?" Tenko asked Himiko.
"He called Yuzuki mom." Akihito responded.
Yuzuki froze, as Tenko let out a laugh.
"One of us! One of- Tenko, join me!" Himiko called over to her brother.
Touya gave Tenko a glare.
Tenko stared at him.
He opened his mouth.
"One of us! One of us! One of us!" Tenko and Himiko began chanting.
"Nooo! You two suck!" Touya groaned into his hands, attempting to pat out the flames.
