Preston presents a magic trick to our classmates at the high school as Presto Change-O, with Victor and Monty looking on.
"Ladies and gentlemen... time for a moment of amazement from master magician, Presto Change-o!"
"Yeah, Press!" said Sarah, excitedly.
"Woo!"
"Okay."
"More like Presto Lame-o." said Victor, whispering to Monty.
"Ooh." He said, in awe.
"Another magic show." said Brody, looking at me.
"Let's hope this one works." I said, talking to him and the others.
"Behold, an entirely empty hat!" said Preston, showing everyone his hat.
Victor stands up from his seat. "Hold on there, Change-o. Let me see that hat." He takes the hat away from him.
"Hey, you can't—"
"Empty hat, eh?" A rabbit gets pulled out of the hat.
There was a lot of chatter.
"A rabbit! Amazing! It's magic!" said Preston.
Everyone booed at his magic trick.
"This guy's terrible!" said the boy.
The bell rings as we see Preston get pelted with paper balls.
"That's not magic, that's tragic." said Monty, laughing at him.
Preston pets the rabbit in his hat.
