The backstage was amped with excitement as the much awaited music festival is about to commence. Fans of different groups and artists gather together for a night of nonstop music and performances, and the group, Enhypen, are also laying the groundwork.
In their waiting area, the seven equally striking men were practically chilling while devouring a flavorful dish.
"Ah, this is the best yangnyeom chicken I've ever tasted. Tell Aerin Noona thank you so much, Heeseung Hyung." Ni-Ki said while munching the food.
"I agree. I didn't know Aerin is such a good cook." Sunoo enjoyed the bite.
"Ah, she's perfect for you, Hee. Always beating me everytime. Damn." Jake let out the jest.
"Did you sneak out last night, Heeseung Hyung?" Jungwon seriously asked.
Heeseung chuckled and answered with a shrug.
"Ya, what if Yuki found out? You're going to be in trouble, I'm telling you." Jay warned.
"I don't know how Yuki would react if he found out you're dating Choi Aerin." Sunghoon added while shaking his head.
Sunghoon's statement made Heeseung to contemplate. What if really Yuki finds out? He let out a chuckle for he completely knows the drill. He'll stand up for Aerin no matter what. Just then, a hurrying Yuki appeared in the room.
"Damn it. They're giving you six nonstop tracks." Yuki was pissed.
"Woah. Seriously?" Jake was in disbelief.
"Are they trying to kill us all?" Jungwon sarcastically asked.
"They told me they'll mute your mic, so---"
"Better be. I don't want to pass out." Sunoo declared.
"Oh, man. Even if we do lip synch it's still gonna be so exhausting." Jay frets.
"They call me the dance machine but I ain't no machine." Ni-Ki was worried for the act.
"What other songs did they add?" Jungwon asked again.
"Criminal Love and the new one, Fatal Trouble."
Heeseung shook his head in disbelief. He never thought they will do a last minute round up.
"That would be a burden to Heeseung Hyung." Jungwon was worried.
"I can pull it, Won. I'll try, as long as it's not live vocals I can do it. How about all of you?" Heeseung voice was full of worry.
"We're a team right? Of course, we can." the members answered in synchrony.
"I will try to talk to the director." Yuki put them at ease. "And before I forget. Hee, Hoon, you're both doing a tiktok dance challenge with Aespa before you hit the stage. Come on out for a quick rehearsal. The girls are already waiting."
"Aespa? W-Who specifically?" the introvert Sunghoon nervously asked.
"Karina and Winter. Heeseung's with Karina. You go with Winter."
"Ooh! Heerina shippers are rejoicing." Ni-Ki was again the first to chaff, totally forgetting the danger that lies ahead.
Sunoo nudged the maknae and gave a side eye. "Watch your mouth, Riki."
"Aw! It's just a joke."
"Yuki, you can pick me instead of Hee. I volunteer." Jay laughs.
"I volunteer for Sunghoon!" Jake cuts in.
"Ah, so much drama." Sunoo granted another eye roll.
"Aespa? Karina Noona is on fire with the choreo. I bring, I bring, dra-ma-ma-ma-ma." Jungwon joined with the jest, effortlessly killing the dance routine.
