"I've gotta go to the toilet, be right back." Percy said jumping down from his bunk and running out.
"Ooook." I say to myself.
A couple of seconds later, Grace ran through the cabin door.
"MEG! YOU'RE the DAUGHTER of POSEIDON?!"
I lay my head over the edge of the bed.
"Seems like it, yeah." I said laughing slightly.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?!"
"No, not really." I said giggling now.
"YOU ARE OFFICIALLY THE ELDEST HALF-BLOOD OF THE BIG THREE!!"
"Percy is."
"WHAT?"
"Percy's older than me by like, a hour."
Then Percy walked in.
"HI PERCY!" I yell
"Hi, care to tell me who your friend is?"
"Oh, this is Grace, she's a child of Aphrodite."
"And iris and Apollo." Grace said matter-of-factly.
"3. . .?" Percy asked
"Oh, my mother's a hybrid of those gods, and a hybrid is if two or more gods join together to have a child with 1 person. Like my mother, she instead of 2 gods, she is 3. So my mother is a hybrid, which means I have a few more powers than others." Grace explained.
"Oook." Percy said.
"I guess I should leave, it's quite late." Grace said, then turned to me, "I'll see you tomorrow."
"See ya!" I said.
"Bye!" She exclaimed as she walked out.
"Bed time." Percy said as soon as the door shut.
"Bu-."
"Nuh,uh,uhh, no buts, bed."
It took me while to get to sleep, and when I did, my dream was worse than the last.~
~I was back next to the pit of darkness again.
"Hello Megara." A cold, dark voice said.
"How do you know my name?" I ask, verry scared.
"Of course I know your name Megara Jackson, I have a special offer for you."
"A-an o-of-ffer?" I ask stuttering.
"I ask you to join me. To help me regain power. To help me overthrow Olympus."
"W-what?"
"You will join me, join a fellow who is helping me."
"I-I don't w-wan-nt to j-join y-you."
"Megara, Megara, Megara. You really are stubborn. But you will come to your senses. I'm offering great power now."
"P-power?"
"Power only a fool would not take."
I stayed silent.
"Megara! Answer me. Answer your new master."
The word master echoed in my mind.
"You're not my master." I muttered.
"Will you take this power, or are you a fool. I know you aren't a fool."
"WELL YOU SHOULD, YOUR NOT MY MASTER! I WILL NOT TAKE YOUR OFFER!" I yell.
"WRONG CHOICE MEGARA!" The voice bellowed.
I fell to the floor in agony and screamed. The pain was like being burned alive.~~
I woke up tangled in my sheets, and covered in a cold sweat.
"It's about midnight." I thought
Then Percy started panting like a dog.
"Percy?" I asked.
He screamed.
"Percy! It's ok!" I yell over his screaming.
"Meg? Oh gods, you scared me."
"I can see that." I muttered.
"Why are you up?" He asked.
"Nightmare. Why were you panting, and screaming?"
"Nightmare."
And that's how our conversation ended. I tried to get back to sleep, but every time I closed my eyes, I saw the pit and the smoke billowing out it. In the morning, Percy and I got dressed and headed to the dining pavilion.
"Hey Meg!" Grace exclaimed.
"Grace!" I exclaimed, then turned to Percy. "I'll see you at breaky." Then ran off to Grace.
"How was your sleep?" I asked her.
"Good, how about you?"
"Great." I lied.
"I heard screaming list night, coming from your cabin, what was that?"
"Percy."
"Oh." She laughed a little.
Once we got to breakfast, I walked to the Poseidon table, to see Percy sitting there. I got some food and went to burn it. And did, walked back to Percy, ate my breakfast, then said goodbye to him. Then walked to archery alone, for neither Percy nor grace had it.

"Everyone grab a bow!" Chiron said loudly.
I was of course the last one to grab my bow.
"Now line up!" He said.
So we did. And I was obviously last in the line.
"Ophelia you may shoot." He said after everyone was in line.
My gut lurched.
"Her?" I thought as she shot a bullseye and walked to the back.
I stayed as quiet as I could. I've seen her around camp, almost every time I've ended up in the infirmary.
"Heaven."
My gut twisted itself into a knot.
"No,no,no, this can't be happening."
She shot and walked to the back. The two started gossiping as soon as heaven got to the back. All the other names were called.
"Megara."
"It's meg." I said quietly.
"Oh, sorry, Meg." He corrected himself.
He held his hand out at the, uhh, the thing with the red circles. A target! He held out his hand to the target. Everyone stepped back as I notched an arrow. I did(and still do) have a reputation for accidentally hitting people with arrows. I took a steadying breath and shot. Bullseye. Like, broke Ophelia's arrow in half.
(Grace-(in film)you'd use the word split in this instance.)
Ugh same same. Anyway. Everyone gasped when they saw what I had done. I crept my head down and walked to the back. I could feel everyone's eyes on my back.

Oh gods. That was. . . The dream was changed. It was different in the paper book I'm writing. This is so far behind. Like this is really far behind. The paper book is in the quest. This is only at archery. Also, we had our gf(grand finals) yesterday, and we won against the team we hadn't beat before.so we got a medal. You don't have to read this btw. I'm just rambling on. But the next chapter will be here soon. Also I look at the views on my story, and it's really weird. Like, 14, 9, 12, 75. Ect. Those aren't the real numbers btw. Anyway, see ya my blue cupcakes.
Boo out.
1015 words, not bad.
