september 20th ; movies

after the day he came to give the ring, we never really saw each other. both of us being busy with trying to satisfy our asian parents with the level of grades they approve. after long two weeks of working our asses off, me and in-soo walked out of the exam hall. a satisfied sigh escaped as i left the four suffocating walls of the school. "definitely failed but at least it's over" i spoke, as we walked. "for real" in-soo nodded in agreement.

i was looking forward to saturday and today was the day, i finally get to see him. all thanks to changbin and in-soo's amazing idea, they planned an after exams, movie day — at her house. i gotten ready wearing black cargo's and a black hoodie with a heart imprint on it. i was feeling very comfy. my original idea was to match with jisung, however that backfired when everyone else joined. disappointing.

i arrived at the planned time, calling up in-soo as usual. "open the door" i spoke, in-soo sighed and spoke an 'okay' — that is before hanging up on me. she soon opened the door greeting me with her usual enthusiasm. "oh, did you know i scared the three cousins" in-soo started. "oh?" i say, invested in whatever chaos she had done. "so they came to my floor and i knew they were coming so i went a floor up, and waited for them to come and then.. i played this audio and the way hana screamed" she finished, out of breath from the laughter.

we both entered her apartment , however to my disappointment jisung wasn't there yet. i sat their in silence, forever wondering when the love of my life was planning to show up. the cousins — nabi, hana and aina — were all busy laughing their asses off with every little joke. changbin too had arrived not long after me, yet here i was waiting for my bestfriend and boyfriend. my phone rang, my best friend aira was calling, i picked up. "girl i'm coming, get down" she yelled, before i could speak she hung up. me and hana went down stairs, "what if we are standing at the door and my dad passes by..." i spoke, a bit anxious.

soon that was laughed off, when me and hana accidentally locked ourselves out. i called in-soo "women... we may or may not have locked ourselves out" i spoke, a loud groan was heard from the other side. "idiots." in-soo muttered and thankfully opened the door.

we stood at the door waiting for arin, "what if jisung shows up before arin" i say and hana shrugs. that's exactly what happened, jisung came first. "where's changbin?" he spoke, 'wow... your girlfriend is in front of you and you ask for my bestie's boyfriend...' i thought to myself. "he's upstairs, the elevator is over there" i point, "go to the apartment on your... right" i finish, jisung had disappeared by then.

not soon after arin finally pulled up with her mom, i waved happily. she skipped to me and hana who were at the door, three of us giggled over some shit and made our way to the elevator. the elevator stopped at in-soo's floor, once we exited i was met with jisung, leaning against the railing "i didn't know which one" he spoke. i walked to the apartment opening it and entered the rest followed me inside, all of us kicking off our shoes and leaving them.

we entered in-soo's room where pure chao's was on the go. "oh jisung, you're finally here" changbin spoke greeting my boyfriend, we all sat down in silence before the two guys left the room to get the movie on. in-soo joining to help, i was stuck in the bedroom with four others. soon the other followed out, me and arin being the last. the last time i had seen my boyfriend was during a netball game, so i guess the shyness was back. arin dragged me out of the room everyone had seated by then. the hana and aina cramped in one, nabi alone on the otherside, the two guys on each end of the sofa.

as if they were leaving space for their partners, reluctantly fighting arin to go and sit near jisung. i was dragged there anyway i sat next to jisung silently, not knowing what to say. i glanced at him quickly averting my eyes away, knowing well my face was heating up. soon in-soo joined next to me, the movie had started too. the silence filling the room was almost suffocating.

the cousins and arin taking pictures left and right, the couple next to me were being all touchy and i was sitting awkwardly next to jisung. at first the movie was a bit bland, i wasn't enjoying it. suddenly in-soo tapped me, i turned to and she starts with her weird gestures asking me to hold jisung's hand. i kept rejecting it, when suddenly changbin too joined.

i sat there as the two kept gesturing it, "im so sleepy" jisung spoke. "why didn't you sleep" i say blankly, "should i go play tonight?" he asks, "you're asking like you would listen to me" i say, and he let out a small laugh. i focused back on the tv, slightly jumping at the scene, i laughed at myself in embarrassment. in-soo seemed to have noticed and started laughing too, i side eyed her not liking it at all.

i could hear changbin whispering aggressively to jisung asking him to hold my hand, i try to keep myself composed. suddenly in the corner of my i saw jisung lay his hand, as if silently asking me to take it. happily i take it intertwining our fingers, i glance at him feeling a lot more comfortable now. i silently bring our hands close flipping it over so our arms were tangled too. we continue watching the movie, soon the pizza came. jisung ate one slice, even though i tried persuade him to eat more. he kept refusing, which i was a bit upset about but i let it slide.

the guy's left early leaving the girls to goof off, that's when chaos broke off again. we were yelling and screaming, at some point arin made me drink coke from the same cup as jisung. "y'all just indirectly kissed" hana squealed, i looked at these two nut-shell-brained humans. i love them a lot obviously and that meant no offense. we video called tsuki laughing and giggling, maybe going a bit mental too.

then we played truth or dare, which ended up in pure laughter. arin was given the dare to kiss in-soo which she did without hesitation. hana holding her down whilst nabi laughed, me and aina were recording. in-soo sat in a daze, after she was let go blushing like crazy. we faced timed ayeon too. i definitely in-took too much coke or should i say sugar, cuz i felt absolutely crazy.

the night ended as we all left, going back to our homes.
