Episode 6

Next morning, Shahzain called Shehryar after breakfast

Shahzain: "Hello! Sun, kya ker raha hai?"

Shehryar: "Kuch nahi, abhi nashta kerke farigh hua hoon. Kyun, khairiyat?"

Shahzain: "Han. Aik kaam ker tayar hoja, Saad aur Dua se milne chalte hain."

Shehryar: "Iss waqt? Kuch ziyada jaldi nahi hai?"

Shahzain: "Tujhe Salar ko nahi dekhna?"

Shehryar: "Nahi aisi baat nahi hai."

Shahzain: "Tou chup kerke tayar hoja aur Shariq ko bhi bata de. Mein aaraha hoon aadhe ghante mein tum dono ko pick kerne."

Shehryar (a bit reluctantly): "Chal theek hai. Aaja."

With that, Shehryar disconnected the call and dialed Shariq's number to inform him about Shahzain's plan. They both got ready before Shahzain picked them up and together, the three drove off to the hospital.

On the other hand, Saad and Dua had just woken up.

Saad (rubbing his eyes): "Good morning Dua! Kesi tabiyat hai ab tumhari?"

Dua: "Good morning! Mein theek hoon. Salar kahan hai?", she asked, sleepily

Saad: "Woh so raha hai."

Dua: "Lao ussey mujhe de do. Ussey feed kerwana hai."

Saad nodded and went over to Salar's bassinet. He gently scooped his baby boy into his arms and walking over to Dua, handed him to her. When Dua was done tending to the baby, she handed him back to Saad and asked for breakfast.

Dua: "Saad mujhe bhi bhook lag rahi hai. Nashta le aao jaker."

Saad: "Theek hai jaraha hoon."

Saad put Salar back into his crib and went to the hospital canteen, getting breakfast for both him and Dua. When he got back, he helped Dua prop up on the bed and they both sat down to have their breakfast. Just as Saad was about to take the first sip of his chai, his phone started buzzing.

Saad: "Offo ab Shahzain ko konse kire kat rahe hain?". he groaned, looking at the caller's ID. Dua gestured him to attend the call. He huffed in annoyance before receiving the call.

Saad: "Hello! kya hogaya hai tujhe iss waqt? Kyun call ki hai?"

Shahzain: "Arey arey hosla rakh. Zara bahir tashreef laye ga. Hum teeno hospital aaye hain."

Saad: "Oh God! Acha ruk ja aaraha hoon."

He disconnected the call and walked out of the door, before throwing an apologetic glance at Dua. He saw his friends waiting for him in the corridor and walked over to them. After exchanging hugs with each of them, he enquired,

Saad: "Tum teeno iss waqt kyun aaye ho. mein ne kaha tha keh hospital aane ki zaroorat nahi hai."

Shahzain: "Lekin woh tou kal ki baat thi na. Aaj tou naya din hai."

Shehryar: "Aur wasey hum tujh se nahi, Salar se milne aaye hain."

Shariq: "Han Shehryar theek keh raha hai. Jao aur jaker ussey leker aao. humare pass poora din nahi hai."

Saad: "Ruk jao milwa deta hoon. Pehley tum teeno Dua se aaker milo. woh kal se pooch rahi hai."

The guys nodded and began following Saad to Dua's room. When they came inside, they saw Dua peacefully sitting on the bed, sipping her tea and greeted her.

The three of them: "Aoa bhabi! Kesi hain aap? 

Dua: "Waoa! Ji mein theek hoon."

Shehryar: "Aap ko buhat mubarak ho!"

Dua: "Thank you! Wasey aap teeno ne aane mein der nahi kerdi?!"

Shahzain: "Bas kya batayein. Hum tou kal aana cha rahe hain lekin Saad ne mana kerdiya."

Shariq: "Woh tou aaj bhi hum khudi aaye hain. Aur yeh humein dekh ker kuch ziyada khush nahi hua.", he added, earning a glare from Saad while Dua giggled.

Dua: "Tou jis se milne aaye hain ussey nahi dekhein ge? Mujhe pata hai aap Saad se milne tou nahi aaye."

Shehryar: "Nahi nahi yeh koi milne wali rooh hai? Hum tou Salar aur aap se milne aaye hai."

Saad: "Chup ker ja warna Salar se bhi nahi milne doon ga. Baap hoon uska."

Shahzain: "Han han hum jante hain."

Dua gestured Saad to pick up Salar and move out of the room with his friends. He nodded and picked up Salar in his arms before turning to his friends.

Saad: "Larko bahir chalte hain. Dua ko aaram kerna hai."

The three of them: "Han sahi hai." turning to Dua, "Allah hafiz bhabi, apna khayal rakhiye ga!", with that, they walked out of the room and Saad followed, after leaving a quick peck on Dua's forehead. He went over to his friends and looked down at Salar

Saad (in a soft voice): "Dekho Salar, yeh aapke chachus hain. Shahzain, Shehryar aur Shariq. Mein manta hoon ache nahi hain lekin kya kerein, inhi se kaam chalana parey ga" he added with a cheeky smile.

Shehryar: "Chup ker ja duffer! La mujhe de."

Saad placed Salar into Shehryar's awaiting arms and the three of them gazed down at the baby for a few moments, before Shahzain exclaimed,

Shahzain: "MA yeh tou buhat pyara hai, shukar hai tujh per nahi gaya.", making them all snicker and Saad scowl. 

Saad: "Mil liya, ab mujhe wapis ker de mera beta."

Shariq (cutting off): "Abey itni jaldi kyun, abhi tou mein aur Shahzain baqi hain." turning to Shehryar, "Chal teri baari khatam. Ab mujhe uthane de."

Shehryar reluctantly handed the baby to Shariq who left a soft kiss on his head making Salar slightly open his eyes and looking up at him.

Shariq: "Saad dekh ne mujhe dekh raha hai!"

Saad: "Nahi woh tujhe dekh nahi raha woh apni Ramsha chachi ka poochna chah raha hai." he exclaimed.

Shariq (scoffing): "Tujhe mood kharab kerna buhat ache se aata hai." with that, he again turned his attention to Salar who was asleep again.

Shahzain: "Chal ab meri baari hai. tum dono ne buhat utha liya." he gestured Shariq to let him hold the baby and Shariq transferred him into Shahzain's awaiting arms. Salar let out a wail, making Shahzain slightly panic.

Saad: "Lagta hai tu Salar ko pasand nahi aaya iss liye ro raha hai.", he snickered.

Shahzain: "Aesi koi baat nahi hai. Woh thak gaya hoga." Saad took Salar from Shahzain's arms and cradled the baby close to his chest, making him quieten down instantly.

Saad: "Chalo ab tum teeno jao. hum shaam tak ghar aajayein ge tou phir baat hoti hai."

Shehryar: "Chal theek hai. apna khayal rakhna. Allah hafiz!"

With that, Saad walked away and the three of them went towards the exit.
