Later that day, Red and Chloe took around the school and that's when they ran into the pirate from before. He was talking to himself about asking someone out.

"Oh." He said as he saw them. "You must be the newbies."

"Yeah." Red answered. Chloe realised that Red and this pirate had the same eye colour, nearly the same hair type.

"I'm Chloe, this is Red. And you are?" Chloe asked just for the sake of knowing his name.

"My name's James. James Hook, captain of the seas." He replied.

Red and Chloe's jaws touched the floor. The way he just introduced himself to them was the exact same way Red introduces himself. Saying "My name's". This is the same James whose name is engraved on Bridget's pendant.

"What?" James asked.

"Nothing." Red answered. "Seems like you're to ask someone out."

James sighed and since he really needed help, he decided to ask them.

"You two seem to know Bridget." He said.

"Yeah." They answered.

"I really love that girl." James confessed. "And I want to leave Uliana's gang and go with her."

"That's a lot to do." Red stated. "But if that's what your heart tells you than you should do it."

"I've overheard some students that there's a dance today evening." Chloe added. "You should ask her out there."

"Good idea." James replied.

"Wait, aren't you supposed to, like, be in the gang?"

"Yeah but I recently learnt that, you are unique in your own way. You must appreciate that. This is what learnt from Bridget."

Later that evening all the students were talking about Castlecoming. All were showing off their gowns and shirts.

Red and Chloe didn't have anything to wear for Castlecoming. They won't be attending the event but they'll be keeping an eye on Uliana and her crew.

Red had also promised James that he would help him. James requested him to check if Bridget already had someone to go along with. As Red was going to Bridget's room, Chloe accompanied him.

They knocked on her door and she opened the door. She was wearing a pink workout outfit, tied her hair up and was playing with a pack of cards while listening to music from her headphones.

"Oh hi!" She greeted them. "Welcome to my room."

Red was surprised to see this room full of life and light coloured. He doesn't remember the last time he saw his palace having light lively colours like this.

"Where I come from, there's a rule against all of this." Red stated.

"Who's against having fun?" Bridget asked with the most bubbly smile.

How could Red tell her that it would be her who would go against having fun.

"The Queen, a.k.a. my mom." Red's voice grew sad as he remembered his mother.

"Well, I can't imagine having a mom like that."

"She's the only one I knew. But she hates everything about me, the way I dress, my jumping from roof tops."

"If I was your mom, I'd love to have a son who thinks for himself." Bridget patted his hair but before she would go somewhere else, Chloe remembered the assignment James gave them.

"Ah, Bridget, aren't you going for Castlecoming this evening?"

"Yeah, I am. I'm going alone actually. Ella isn't free and no one asked me out." She answered. "You both coming?"
